The hotel was in a good location. The beds were very small and the room’s bathroom door was broken and the hair dryer didn’t work. The hotel will work for you if you want to stay under budget but it has a lot of room for improvements.

Get away with my grandson
Our stay was short notice, but my go-to hotel when I need a place to stay because I know they have nice hotels that the normal person can afford And 100 percent better than our last stay at a hotel-red roof inn on Davis hwy Pensacola FL. I have always had a good stay at a Rosen hotel in Orlando.

We weren’t expecting luxury, but we definitely weren’t prepared for what we encountered. When we were getting ready for bed, we found a cockroach crawling around in our room. It was already 2am, so we had to kill it ourselves and try to get some sleep afterward, but honestly, the thought of more bugs lurking around made it nearly impossible to relax. On top of that, the stairwells were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Safe to say, we won’t be coming back.

Our first room smelled very strongly of mildew and the bedding and carpet were wet. The staff was very nice and gave us a new room, which we appreciated. Overall the rooms are badly in need of updating with uncomfortable beds and pillows. The area did not feel safe especially after dark, and was very loud. For example, we witnessed a half naked man urinating in the courtyard outside the lobby. Definitely would not recommend nor would we stay here again.

Not worth the price.
Normally I say you get what you pay for, but I think this room was overpriced. Beds are full size and uncomfortable. Pillows are super flat needed two to at least help keep my head up. Found a lot of insects in the room. Carpet smelled old. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 in the morning and check out wasn’t until 11. Even when we told her we weren’t checking out until 11, she sat outside and waited until we left. You could hear everything going on both sides of the walls and upstairs. Only good thing I would say, it’s a decent size fridge in the room. The tub is also a death trap. If you aren’t careful you can easily fall and hurt yourself. We complained to the front desk and all they said was “oh we’re sorry about that” no offer of compensation or anything for the inconvenience. Only other good thing it’s super close to home the eye and universal studios

We love staying at The Rosen Inn, it is conveniently placed on International drive with really delicious breakfast at Denny's!! The I trolley buses are so cheap to go shopping just buy a pass at the tickets stall at reception. Theres the worlds biggest Mcdonalds, Icon park so many restaurant choices, quite expensive, free shuttle to Universal studios, for nightlife everything is walkable!

The staff was great no complaints about them at all. There's a great store with a decent selection in the lobby. The property is older and you can tell. The room was adequately clean, clean linens but the rug had stains and the mattress covers even had a few stains. The TV is older with no smart or streaming capability. If the price is low enough it's a good stay. I'm not too mad about it overall but for the price I've stayed in better for sure

Everything was clean, room was nice. Only downside no elevator in sight but I was only on the 2nd floor so not a huge deal. Would definitely stay again!
