This hotel was the best one on the trip. Separate, large rooms and large bathroom. Great location, right across the bridge from Osaka-Jo park and its train station. The coolest view of Osaka Castle! Looks great at night too. Lots of lovely amenities and services included, would recommend getting your welcome drinks and breakfast drinks. As well as heading up to the bar for your free drink and wonderful view of the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of coin laundry within the building or nearby, however everything else was easily within reach.

International in Osaka
I have two nights trip in Osaka for my business and I have stayed in this hotel because close by to all of the meetings. I was surprised I cannot enter the coffee in the lobby because I’m not Japanese it’s only for Japanese and when I ask for coffee they says to me go around the corner to 7-11 convenience I felt not comfortable and I feel some people there racist.

처음인 일본 여행의 첫 일본 호텔 뉴오타니 오사카 방이 그리 크지는 않았지만 깔끔하고 5성급 호텔로써 서비스 용품들은 부족하지 않았습니다. 조금 아쉬운 점이 있었다면 4박 하는 동안 청소를 한 번쯤은 해줄만도 한데 수건이나 물 비누 등 서비스 용품만 갈아주고 청소는 전혀 해 주지를 않더라고요. ^^;; 그 이외에는 모든 것이 다 만족합니다.

Beautiful view of the castle and staff were excellent very friendly. Gorgeous Christmas decorations and lobby. Breakfast was also fabulous. Safe clean and lovely location near subway and JR rail Only fault is pool gym need to pay for, although we didn’t have time for that anyway as there was so much to do anyway and great running tracks near by Highly recommend and Thankyou to all the staff!

The most outstanding this about the New Otani was the service. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They were truly 5 star. The hotel is huge, like fancy hotels of the 1980s - lots of marble and shine. The rooms are generous and our view across the water to the castle was stunning. Because this hotel is a little older now there are signs of wear and tear but that's to be expected. The area is a little on the outer of Osaka which makes getting around a little more time-consuming and local dining options more challenging to find. There are restaurants on site but they are on the pricey side. But the proximity to parks and the castle was great. The New Otani was an excellent stay for the price.

It was a hotel with a really great view of Osaka Castle. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were really friendly. I think this trip to Osaka will be a great memory.

The Vicinity is quite and comfortable in week days and becomes agile and vibrant in week ends. I like very much about the surroundings. The property is facing the Castle. Wonderful

Great property very luxurious, great high end shopping and dining, if your look for all in one hotel. The rooms were great sizes views were amazing. The bathrooms could use some major updates as it doesn't fit the style of hotel its more like a pink retro vibe but for price and size its good. Dinning out is all over just note that its mostly inside buildings so it may look empty or dead at night but you have to go inside the buildings to see all the options. Or walk about 15 minutes see the busy night life stuff but it truly isnt a bad walk. The subway was close by about 5 to 10 mintue walk depending which line your going to. The view of the castle at night was absolutely amazing. The staff was so kind and friendly. Nothing really opens early so the dining options at the hotel worked perfect if your a breakfast person. They offered American and Japanese style. So many great tasting things.

Wonderful!
Excellent hotel with amazingly helpful staff. Very spacious rooms with all the amenities you need. The staff from checkin, bell and housekeeping was excellent in their customer service. The staff in the frontline all spoke perfect English. Everyone was so helpful and truly took pride in their hotel and job. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is exceptional. Great location to transportation and restaurants.
