Such amazing stay in Osaka. Walkable distance to 3 train stations. Very quite and beautiful hotel. Our room was facing Osaka Castle. It was such an amazing stay and very friendly staff. If you want to stay away from the crowrd but easily accessible to train station with beautiful Osaka Castle Park. This is the best hotel.

Only attended the hotel because first hotel we booked into was under flight path. Booked here for one night and re-booked three times to stay for a combined period of 8 nights. Great hotel, great staff and great Location for nearby Osaka park and multiple train and subway lines

Not recommended if wishing to travel around Osaka.
This is hotel is a very large American style 5* hotel which is extremely dated. The hotel is near the concert hall and Osaka Castle but is a long way from the centre of Osaka. We were given a smoking room when we asked to change we were charged to change rooms. We spent very little time in hotel due to its location when we left early morning we stayed out all day which isn’t ideal a centrally located hotel would be much better. The staff were polite but didn’t care much for tourists.

the staff are really nice, and the hotel has an old school vibe of luxury from the previous generation of las vegas type, which after all the hotels being tiny everywhere in Japan was a nice change and felt really expansive. the room was huge and had an amazing view of osaka castle and the area. my main issue was the bed was super uncomfortable, extremely firm, and the pillows were extremely thin. its hard in general to get a comfortable bed by western standards in all of japan, but this was the main downer. of course the bathrooms were outdated as well but water pressure was great and the size great. its right across from osaka castle and the train station but about 20 min by car or train to Dontobori area. in general it was a good stay and on par with japan in general, i just wish the bed was more comfortable.

I guess property tried to potray heritage and legacy of Otani as a brand, however the quality of mattress, food and prices are not matching to the 5 star standards. One 500ml water per person per day and any requests for water is demanded for additional cost of 350 Yen for 500ml water bottle.

This is a splendid well run hotel. My only criticism is that the casual restaurant on the 1st floor has a very limited dinner menu on Sundays and is over priced.

Hotel is beautiful, service is A easy access to public transport and location was not hectic it was beautiful and peaceful. Our view was overlooking Osaka Castle and riverside with spectacular views. No free in-house laundry but we found a close 24hr one called (smile laundromat) both wash/dry machines while waiting we went to royal host restaurant across road for dinner. So it was a win. This part of Osaka is more a relaxing atmosphere, but easy access via transport to Dontonbori and Denden town.

Best hotel stay we had on our trip. Everyone was polite, respectful and friendly. The hotel grounds were beautiful and clean. There were plenty of dining options and shops to spend time in. I even got a nice haircut at the barbershop there. I would come back again.

Outstanding friendly service. We were fortunate to have a room on the eighth floor facing Osaka castle. Great view at night. Room was very clean and we really enjoyed the deep Japanese style bathtub. The hotel has enough public spaces to relax without leaving.
