Had a lovely stay at the double tree in Lawrence. Convenient location. Employees & service were great. Indoor pool was fun. Breakfast was delicious but very limited dinner selection, three choices.

Okay hotel
Hotel remodel was done fairly well. As usual the electrical outlets were worn out and should have been replaced. Food was just average and breakfast not with the cost.

We enjoyed our stay except for one thing. We had a handicapped accessible room, and the bottom of the tub was very slippery. I ended up putting a hand towel on the area where I stood to prevent a fall. I would think it would present a liability problem for the hotel. Perhaps a bath mat to put in the tub would be advisable.

We got two double beds instead of a single king bed. We were not given the included breakfast coupon for the buffet and had to scramble in the morning to sort it out. staff was friendly but facilities and organization did not fit 4 stars rating and pricing.

It is time for updating. Also the pool pools hours are a bit stingy. There are hand made signs throughout the hotel warning guest to be quiet. That seemed odd. I don't like how the Hilton honors app and expedia don't comminate
