The shower curtain was dirty and disgusting ! I asked for it to be changed and it was on my second day ! The shower head was dirty and blocked so I cleaned it to get a better water flow for a better shower ! Not a very clean hotel ! Hotel needs to be refurbished !

Dated dirty hotel.
On arrival staff were excellent. Hotel in bad state and in need for repair. The room was dated and bathroom dirty, as towel holder fell of, toothpaste still all over walls from prevous people. Stopped 1 night and went eles were as they said they cleaned again but was still the same dirty bathroom. Never asked us if wanted to change rooms when we said wanted to check out. Rooms nothing like on pictures on website . Expedia think you need to update photos of rooms.

Clean hotel in a perfect location
Overall Windmill Resort Hotel represents a good value. Clean, well looked after hotel is located in a perfect location close to the shops, cafes and transport. Even if hotel's condition is a bit dated it's still a nice place to stay. Swimming pool, breakfast cafe and beer garden add up value making this hotel a comfortable place to relax. Hotel staff deserves special credit.

Good location
Hotel is a bit dated and overdue for renovation but still good value. It is located in a good area close to the shops, cafes and transport. Swimming pool, breakfast cafe and bar is a nice addition that makes your stay comfortable enough. Overall Windmill resort hotel is reasonable accommodation to be considered by budget travellers.

We found the hotel to be exactly what we expected. The rooms were quite basic but clean. The pool area is the only real complaint I have. This is purely down to it needing cleaning as there is a tide mark at the water level from old suntan lotion I assume. The Hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to acknowledge us every time we walked through. I can say the same for the lady who cleaned my room every day. As the hotel is in North Pattaya it is away from all the major bar areas but this suited me as I like it to be quieter where I sleep. You really do get your moneys worth here and I would have no problems with staying here again in the future but I would go for a pool view next time as I looked over the cleaning area to the rear. Not a problem for me but may be for others. If I want a 5 star room then I have to pay for it. Don`t pay cheap and then expect it to be luxury.

Very nice staff
The front of hotel and housekeeping staff are very nice. The manager lady looks very strict so she keeps the place running efficiently. Id stay here again. The beds are comfortable and the pool is quite long and theres not much noise. If you are superstitious about black cats, Id give it a miss. But the resident cat is cool.

Ok Stay Dissapointing departure day
The hotel and Pool area was basic but clean and comfortable. The price was good for what it was. On day of departure we asked to keep the room on until 7pm and was quoted half price at 600 bhat. However at checkout we were given a note saying that they wanted 1100 Bhat, which was full price and thats what we had to pay. Luckily for us having a Thai friend and connections here when she spoke to the receptionist the price miraculously dropped back down to 600 bhat. This was very dissapointing and disstressing on the last day of our holiday. Be very wary of being over charged. There is no lift access in the hotel so if you are not very mobile this is not the hotel for you.

Windmill Resort North Pattaya
This resort for its price is a very nice hotel, although a couple of Kilometres from the beach, there are no shortage of baht buses, right outside the hotel. There are no lifts in the hotel, and if you wish a room with a view opt for the pool view rooms, as there are only three floors. Breakfast is ok but you can get better for cheaper outside of the resort, also the time for breakfast is 7am to 9 am so if you have had a late night that is one meal you will be missing. There is wheelchair access to the first floor. The cleanliness of the rooms is better than most of the high priced hotels in Pattaya. Although this resort does not give you the extras like individual soaps etc. The free wi-fi is extremely fast and like advertised it is free. Generally the hotel exterior could look better with a lick of paint and there are also little signs of wear and tear throughout the hotel. The pool was always clean again just a little cosmetic care required.

Nice Hotel at North Pattaya
The hotel provide the comfort and relax environment during my recent stay.The staff is really helpfull during our stay althought with just 1 night stay. Breakfast provided is nice. Location of the hotel is good within working distance.

10 day stay.
If you want somewhere cheap to sleep its fine.The room was clean but shower head needed replacing.No coffee or tea facilities but they do have a room service menu.I ordered breakfast which arrived uncovered and had a small black ant in it.Extra protein I guess.My wife and child joined me a few days after my arrival for convience to us only after A lengthy price debate.But only just! A certain member of the night shift staff likes to look after her hotel profits rather than customer satisfaction (bonus incentive).One on nights says they don't get a bonus if the hotel is doing well the other on days admitted they do.Anyway after starting at over 10,000 baht I finally 3 days later agreed on 6,600 baht.Big difference when you get 1 member of staff saying it's not possible and saying you don't have breakfast etc etc then I show my Expedia confirmation for my first 6 days which says I did and was told that is still wrong and the room price should be more.Not impressed one member of staff (nights) needs better customer service skills and not to make you feel like she is draining every last penny out of you.The pool was quiet only 3 guests and I ordered poolside snack and 2 drinks.1 drink arrived after 20 mins! And only after having to go to reception as the pool staff had vanished to ask again I finally got my snack 1 hour later.Chicken Nachos.No nachos.Twisted dried crunchy croissants in a sweet bolognaise style sauce with some chicken strips mixed through.Good Hotel fading away.

1. I had paid for the room in advance. The hotel takes 1000 BHT advance refunded at departure - this does not speak well for the hotel 2. Rooms allotted in 3rd floor - NO LIFT - VERY PROBLEMATIC FOR OLD PEOPLE 3.The shower was leaking and water dripping - no maintenance at all 4. No coffee / tea satchets - no kettle for heating water 5. not a very helpful house cleaning team

hotel has potential but run down
value for money this rates as a 7/10. its cheap and needs to be because this hotel is run down and is ruined with substandard workmanship in relation to repairs and maintenance. quality restoration would lift this hotel into the next star rating as it has great potential. I like the location. it is about a 5-10 minute scenic bus/tuk tuk ride to the heart of pattaya and the bus going to and from the cbd is on the same main road outside the hotel. other hotel locations, a little closer to the cbd mean you will have to walk some distance(5mins) as the roads are one way, so I like the location. there are a number of quieter bars (if that's what you want) very close by as well. noise at night can be heard in the rooms but it wasnt too bad. beds are large and very firm as is the norm in Thailand. tv had a reasonable range of channels. room size was average. Overall this hotel is ok.
