Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it’s about 40 mins from the airport and 10 mins from dreamland beach. The hotel do free shuttles to and from the beach but only 3x per day. The room was nice but we did find a big cockroach in the bathroom on one of the nights and there was also a lot of hair in the shower the night we checked in (not belonging to us), so it was obvious that the shower had not been cleaned to a proper standard. The restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.

Absolutely great

All though the weather wasn’t the best. The facility was great as there were pool table, table tennis. Swimming pools were great. Breakfast was excellent and best croissant ever had on a breakfast buffet.

Pretty standard. A good place to stay with very friendly staff. The food in the hotel is very expensive and the portions were not big. It’s slightly dated and could do with more channels on the tv and or access to Netflix. The pool is lovely and it was very clean. They also give you free toiletries.

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful. However, as a five star hotel, there are certain expectations that patrons will have - clean and well maintained buildings, appropriate room allotment, etc. While Le Grande failed to meet those expectations, that was not the most disappointing part. This was - the bathroom in my room had no hot water and the water pressure was abysmal. I requested for a room change which was sidelined entirely and people were sent to repair the water temp but to no avail. (I had booked for a Deluxe Double or Twin Room. I’d made the personalised request to be given a double bed. They gave me a twin room anyway.) Under any other circumstances, I’d have gladly paid for my stay in full and not asked for a reimbursement. But having a functioning bathroom with hot water and good water pressure is a bare minimum. 2 star hotels have had better water temp and pressure than here. The property refused to reimburse me citing hotel policies. I wish that they applied the same policies to hotel maintenance. To the hotel management, the guest is NOT always right, but when a guest up and leaves due to lack of action or maintenance of hotel facilities, then please take the matter seriously. You’re not affecting just a guest’s experience with your hotel but you’re also affecting their set schedule around their holiday. I hope the appropriate measures are taken to avoid a situation like this again.

Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, very attentive staff, excellent facilities. Only drawback, since it is a golf course also, one cannot really walk anywhere so you need a taxi every time you want to leave.

All the staff were very helpful and kind. Rani, Riski to mention a few of them. Happy hour drinls were a welcome treat too. Stayed in room 217, a family suite with 2 large beds, 2 bathrooms and a safe too. TVs in each room and the sitting room too. Definitely worth a stay.

Had an awesome experience at Le Grande Bali. Pool and bar area with pool table was amazing, breakfast buffet was delicious and had tons of options, air conditioning in the room was perfect after long days in the sunshine. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was above and beyond, friendly, helpful, and added such positive energy.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast buffet was tasty. However, we felt the standard of the room let the hotel down and left us questioning how it was a 5* hotel, there were no tables/chairs on the balcony meaning we couldn’t use it. There was no hot water in the shower & the paint work was chipped. Just felt a bit run down.
