Great Penticton stay!

The hotel is well maintained. The newly renovated rooms are great and we loved sitting in the courtyard next to the outdoor pool each evening.

We have enjoyed many visits to Days over years. Never disappointed. We particularly like the breakfast room and the variety of food to choose from.(cereal,eggs,waffles etc.) Comfortable rooms as well.

Somehow, my booking was lost, and I was provided a different room. It was terrible, so noisy, and I didn't want to complain, but it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel in a long time. Don't even get me started on the blowdryer.

While the property has been updated, at least our two rooms had a refresh, it is a “tired” hotel. The rooms are noisy and you can hear people talking in the next room and every toilet flush. There was a real slope in the floor, enough to almost trip walking across the room. Instant hot water, which took getting used to. Breakfast was quite basic. Not to separate this property from others, as it is a common problem, but “hot” items were cold.

UNACCEPTABLE & OVERPRICED

The front desk staff were indifferent to the fact that my key cards did not work. They did not respond to my phone or text message. In a large complex I was forced to retrace my steps to the front desk carrying all of my luggage. My check in was delayed by over 1/2 hour and the staff could not have cared less for my inconvenience. The bed linen had old blood stains on the sheets and other stains on the bed cover. The shower had accumulated grime in the corners. I will never recommend or stay at another DAYS INN property. They changed high end rates for sub- par accommodation.

I was given a $200 a night quote from Expedia but was charged $235 a night so I was very disappointed. Also staying on the second floor was inconvenient for my bad knees, but was not informed by Expedia that our room was upper level with no elevator. The facilities were great

It was good for a nights stay. Would be nice to have English breakfast tea and not just Earl Grey, but that’s only a personal preference. Overall it was clean and comfortable.
