Reception staff that didn’t seem to care - one young man in particular who never bothered lodging maintenance request for faulty phone reported soon after check in. Breakfast was very ordinary for the rate they charged. Website and page on Expedia advertise soundproof walls - that was the biggest joke - heard my neighbour on his conference call from 2-5am! Couldn’t even use phone to call anyone about it as it was never fixed deposits asking twice. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! Event staff also great to work with. Pity about the front desk staff.

Staff did absolute minimum to facilitate a stay. Key cards were useless and frustrating on the lift and room doors. Room cleaning was less than basic… duvet pulled over unmade beds instead of sprucing them up. Cleaning products and sponge left behind by cleaners, keycards taken out of power slots on the wall by cleaners requiring a visit to reception to get a new one. Coffee sachets not replaced each day, bathroom product bottles unfilled for entire 9 day stay despite being empty from previous guests. Even getting the interconnecting door between rooms unlocked took two visits by staff cos first guy CBFed sorting both sides… was cheaper service than the room rates suggested. Buffet breakfast was bare minimal choices and terrible service… mostly ditched to eat nice food out. Overall disappointing stay. Novotel in Mumbai was ten times better than this place.

Just a hotel. Rooms are tired. Shower head in bath very low on wall. Need to step into Bath and crouch down to take a shower. Milk & Tea Bags not replaced every day. No sheer privacy curtains behind the main curtain. Breakfast Employees were lovely and very friendly, but the breakfast buffet was ordinary. Nice Hotel and you get what you pay for.

Even though I paid for this accommodation , I wasn't told I needed a photo ID to check in, consequently I was out of pocket after being refused my accommodation. I didn't drive there so didn't have my Driver's Licence, and as I live in the State of Western Australia I didn't need my passport with me. I was unable to materialise a photo ID . Did have plenty of other ID and photos of myself on my smart phone but none of this sufficed. Access to getting a refund has been awkward as contact details to Expedia not as easy as I'd hoped

I was disappointed in our stay. Staff were lovely and tried to make up for a dirty towel in our room?! Hotel is very old and tired but clean.. beds were not up to standard in comfort! Pictures looked mush nicer than reality. Not a cheap hotel so expected better!! I’ll never re book.
