It was terrible! I will never go back. My family and I checked out soon after checking in and found another place and didn’t even stay. The lady up front rude rude rude! We didn’t have any towels in our room besides one dirty one. We tried to call the front desk but the phone in our room didn’t work so had to call from our cellphones and then had to call mutiple times to get someone to answer. Told them we didn’t have any towels was told you had to come down and get some. So we went down to get some and she only have 2 room towels and then 2 pool towels. We said we need more room towels and wash clothes and hand towels was told they don’t have any hand towels or wash clothes. Then she said we would have to return the pool towels to get more towels. Went back and she didn’t want to give us anymore towels and I asked for a manager she said there wasn’t one there. I asked for the managers name and number and she refused to give it to me. The room was filthy roaches and mold. The beds were terrible stains and broke. Even the outside of the place was filthy trash everywhere.
This place was horrible front desk was rude and couldn't be bothered. Room was dirty bed was half made roachs in the sink and tub floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a week. We didn't stay we left after seeing the room
Starting from day 1 there was no garment cart. They claim to have an elevator but it wasn't working. No towels in my room. Had to ask for towels daily. The only person whom i found to be decent was the one washing towels. Over half the bulbs in the room were out. Including the one right inside the room which i like to leave on for safety/security reasons. The bathroom light fixture was horrible. It looked like someone gutted it to stash something in there. Drugs? Only 1 working bulb. The floor was disgusting and sticky. Nearly pulled my shoe off. The couch was worn out. I decided not to sit on it in case it breaks. I wasn't about to let them keep my $75 deposit to replace something that i didn't break.I ended up leaving 2 days early.
Has absolutely NO breakfast, besides nasty granola bars, had no juice, coffee maker was broke, didn't even have a back on the remote, the bed sheets were stained. And the indoor pool was closed even though it said indoor pool. They had trash bags full of trash at the end of the hotel that had been there for 2 and a half days. Clearly staff don't take pride in their cleaning. And had roaches. Absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND staying here.
Nothing was what they said it was. The sign had a big sign that said free breakfast flashing. They didn’t even have coffee. When asked about it, they pointed to a tray that had three protein bars in it.
DO NOT book this property. They don’t staff the desk late at night or the staff doesn’t answer the phone. If you show up late to check in you might find the lobby locked and no one will answer the posted phone number. They will not refund your money if you already paid and you won’t have a place to stay. Front desk staff doesn’t care and there is no customer service. They tell you to call Expedia, but you won’t get real help there either. Just book another place. You’ve been warned.
Room had nothing but one empty toilet paper roll. 1 bath towel and no others, no hand or wash cloths. Room not clean. Counter barely wiped. Bedding stained. 2 tiny pillows per bed. No additional towels to use and they have a pool. How do you have a pool with no towels. The lady at the desk unfriendly, seemed inconvenienced to stop looking at her phone when asked for toilet paper and towels. Trim being attempted to be held up by exposed duct tape, doors filthy and damaged.
We went in the room,saw there were no wash clothes ,while I went to the front desk my wife checked the beds. The sheets were used, dirty and pillow had hair on them. We turned the key in and left.
We wasnt able to even check in bc there was no staff at the facility. No one answered the desk phone and the "emergency " number displayed on the doors mailbox was full. Called customer service for howard johnson and they were no help. Not refunded. Extremely unhappy. Was out in the cold with my mom with heart and breathing problems and my 5 year old daughter.
This hotel is dirty. They do nothing about noise complaints. It took two days to get the full bedding for our beds. The hotel staff will not get a manager. They say he has different hours and they do not know when he will be in the employees at work. There are from Jamaica on work permits and they laugh at you if you request anything Rude staff dirty rooms with bugs
Didn’t get this day didn’t get to see you till after purchase that check-in was till 12 AM. Tried calling the hotel no answer and was like 10 PM. Call the branch and the guy gave me a number to call and said they called when you’re closer they would be able to do a late check in. Got there and Leslie calling standing outside for an hour. Didn’t get to sleep
The staff pretty much were on their cell phones even when interacting with guests. When i checked in the young lady was engaged in a video call and half assed addressed me. The grounds were deplorably filthy. Trash all over the place that was never touched during my entire stay.
Only two towels in thd room?? No hand towels or washcloths. Room was never serviced but they went in my room?? Why go in and do nothing??
Coffee but no coffee maker? No cups of any kind?
My room was generally clean so i stayed but doubtful i would ever consider this if i had my family with me.
The staff got a little argumentative with me in the fact my key cards stopped working everyday and i had to take them to be reset (as did at least 3 other guests i bumped in to down there doing the same)
I wasnt my phone or credit card. One day my card and the one i have my son both were dead. The next day i left one in the car and kept on in my pocket..later that day both didn't work. Every day this was occuring...someone evidently didnt know what they were doing...you could do mucj better for staff.
Let's just say this is the second worst place i have stayed in Pigeon Forge and i come there a few times a year for over a decade.
Staff was worried about phone conversations. Room floor was nasty and sticky. Asked to have it mopped. Never did it. Had to go get towels too. Couldn't do breakfast cause door was locked at 720am. When asked about it he said they had a granola bar and coffee.
Room was dirty.
Cockroaches.
Have bites allover body that are not mosquitoes.
Possible mold on alls and ceilings.
No room service.
Breakfast was questionable coffee and granola bars.
The brand name is definitely sullied by this location
