I was never told about a 75 dollar deposit until I got there. They said it would come back to me upon check out and still haven’t received it a day later. The front desk was not open /4 hours so we couldn’t get any extra towels or anything the next morning. They also did not serve breakfast like they were supposed to. The coffee pots in the rooms were inoperable and there weren’t any cups or anything of that nature in the room.
Convenient location. I got a great deal on a room for the night. Room was clean. Some road noise being right by the highway, but for the price I can’t complain. Overall easy and nice experience.
They were my butt I was told there would be a jetted hot tub included and there was not you got one towel per person that continental breakfast was a nature’s own granola bar and they didn’t get it to the front office till 9 o’clock was very rude. Not nice at all. Definitely do not recommend staying here.
Worst experience ever.We had to sleep in our car,there was no one to check us in.A note was on the lobby door for us to call (865-255-7050) which I called over 10 times with no answer and to go to room 208 with no answer as well.The lady finally came at 7:45am with no care in the world,there was no breakfast as advertised and the rooms were deplorable with roaches crawling from everwhere,dirty tub and bathroom, dirty towels and linens, had to ask for tissue and clean towels. The staff was non existent when we needed any assistance and when we needed to check out we had the same issue as before...Will never stay at this hotel again. EXPEDIA what are you guys doing? This place is a dump,why was this even an option? Please use better hotels for families on your website
DO NOT BOOK!!! This place is roach infested and very run down. They offer continental breakfast but actually is nothing when you get there. We went to get towels and they had none. People are very unfriendly and rude. When you walk on the floor it’s so sticky your shoes will pull off your feet if not tied down. We stayed one night and wanted to check out early and get our money back for the next 2 nights we had booked. They refused to cancel and said we had to email someone but they don’t respond. 5 couples were trying to cancel with no help and law enforcement had to be called. Save yourself the time and money and know this place is private owned and not in the chain with Wyndham.

The room was dirty and we had no towels. The tub was leaking and the plaster on the ceiling was falling. The staff acted like they didn’t care and wouldn’t do anything about it.
If I could rate this hotel a -10 I would. We got in late and when checking in the woman working the front desk had ZERO customer service, was not friendly, never once even made eye contact or said "hello". That would have been the first clue this was going to be a bad place to stay. Because we got in so late we went straight to bed, when we woke up we actually looked around the room and discovered the ceiling COVERED in black mold, no cover on the bathroom fan and probably an inch of dust inside it. The towels had stains all over them and they only provided 3 towels, no bath mat towel, no wash cloths. The floor turned our feet black from the dirt. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights. We checked out after the first night when we actually saw how disgusting this place was. When I went down to the front desk to ask them to answer the phone from the expedia rep to confirm I could get a refund as the hotel is misleading the woman working said she just hasn't been answering the phone (the rep called 3 times). I asked to speak with the manager, she said the manager wasn't in, I asked when she was in she said she didn't know and they don't have a schedule and wouldn't tell me when she would be in... If someone hates their job that much they should find another one. She did not care AT ALL that the room was absolutely filthy. I wish we had of had a good look around as soon as we stepped foot into the room. I wish there was a spot to upload pictures of the disgust of this hotel.
Front desk was super rude and more worried about having dinner with her boyfriend. The room was nothing like pictured. It smelt old and musty. The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken. We each had one thing sheet and no comforter on the bed. Luckily I brought all of us extra blankets from the car ride since it was 30 degrees outside.

Don't waste your time!
Booked a quick, one night stay at this hotel. I live 71 miles from this location. Tia, the incredibly rude..... Terribly incompetent and absolutely off putting front desk ornament was no help whatsoever. She relished in the fact that they apparently have a policy of no one being able to stay there that lives closer than 100 miles. The facility had hardly any cars in the parking lot. There was no mention of this policy when I booked. I strongly recommend that no one gives this place their business.
Do not stay here. Room was dirty, door handle missing and floor was sticky. We should have read the reviews first. We didn't spend the night we left and went somewhere else. Hopefully i can get a refund but still worth losing out on the money than stay there

Wasn’t very clean. Couldn’t get ahold of staff. My fridge barely worked. The shower was gross. Just not what I expected.
Left card for deposit hold as you’d expect. What I didn’t expect was my card to be charged not once but twice . Tired to call property all day no answer. Called 800 number I was given an email. Emailed with no success. After 3pm finally got the front desk to answer only to be told she couldn’t help me. Given another email address. I emailed again explaining in detail. Asking what happen and why I was charged. Got an email back this time simply state I’ll get your money refunded back in 7-12 business days. No explanation or anything. My bank finally just submitted a fraud claim. This was the first and last time I will stay at this property. Credit card Faud is a crime.
The hotel outwardly looked decent...BUT the floor was dirty. The tub had multiple hairs and mildew. The TV was tiny and the remote half way worked. There was trash under the bed and food splatters in the microwave. The final straw causing us to FORFEIT our PAID FOR vacation stay was the discovery of ROACHES on the wall and under the bed. The office was closed at 8:30pm with a phone # posted to call for emergencies. We called. The lady was hateful and refused to help. She actually hung up on us. Terrible experience! No one I know will EVER stay at a Howard Johnson again.We had to drive home, out of state, in the middle of the night because we didn't have another option. No one wants share a bed with roaches! I will be making an official complaint.
