Thought it would be great
The description of this hotel showed it was one of the best in Plattsburgh. It had an indoor heated pool. But the water was so cold, we didn't go in. Front desk response: we have no idea what the temperature is. (But at $300+ per night, you should). Then, the room was very cold. Thermostat said 68. We turned the heat on but only cold air came out. Front desk: "Sorry." We clicked INFO on the TV remote for a channel lineup but nothing happened. Had to scroll through many channels to find a lineup that only covered some channels. Then, another channel showed more channels. Front desk: We're using a new cable provider. Right before checkout I asked if they could do something (for the future-- maybe a discount or coupon). Reply: you reserved through a 3rd party so there's nothing we can do. Then, a barely audible: Sorry. We won't be returning to this hotel.

Clean great looking hotel. Down side- Pool freezing cold (70’s for temp and is apparently supposed to be heated) and the coldest hot tub we’ve ever been in. Bath water is warmer than the hot tub. Beds not comfortable though. We used to stay at Hampton just due to the comfortable beds. This location didn’t have the good ones. Breakfast has a lot of options. Staff was amazing and small snack shop was awesome. Staff that cleaned the room didn’t miss a thing, it was spotless.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable experience. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of options to start the day off right. Overall, a solid choice for anyone looking to stay in this area.

Room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with enough options for both my husband and I. Did not like the view of a wall from our hotel room window, would have appreciated a head's up on that when we checked in. But otherwise a good experience. We only stayed one night

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They were updating their ?wifi? so I couldn’t use my Netflix but other than that it was a very surprisingly pleasant stay. Free breakfast in the morning was mobbed and limited.
