We couldn't find the hotel, it did not have a sign from the road. I had to call the hotel and they told me how to find them. It was located in a dingy parking lot behind a gas station and Uhaul parking lot. One bed was super clean, the other had hair all over it and so we requested new bedding. The girl was friendly and brought it right away.

You can see some renovations have been done to the outside of the hotel and they are on the right track. Rooms are in need of work. The set up is strange and there was a mystery locked door with a bench in front of it (to hide it?). Bathroom needs some TLC but it’s alright. The shower pressure is good. FYI there is no blow dryer available.

The staff were very friendly. However had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up in the lobby for check out, and the shower was a bit dirty, along with some minor stains on the bedding. The area was a bit noisy as well. Not a terrible value for the price we paid, but we likely would not stay here again next time we visit Port Huron.
