Current construction but....
I gave the property 3 stars ( average) because of current construction going on a the property. The room itself was great. Construction didn’t bother us from our room. You currently need to enter from the back of the property. Now you're aware about the current construction and it wont bother you once in you’re room. If the price is right for you, go ahead and book a stay. The location is right across the street from the airport making it really convenient for you’re flight (especially early morning).

After reading bad reviews I contacted front desk to confirm that none of the amenities advertised were available. False advertising! I canceled and they refused refund. Stating non refundable. But they were not providing what they advertised. I will persist with this matter.

The property is doing renovations on the first floor. The front entrance is blocked off. There’s an alternate entrance on the side of the building, but you can’t see it from the street. Also, the hotel’s sign doesn’t light up at night, so if you’re arriving after sunset, good luck finding it. At check-in, the receptionist was cold and impersonal. She only answered questions that were asked. Our room was on the second floor and it was much better than the first floor. Our room was perfect in condition, comfort and cleanliness. However, we didn’t get any housekeeping services during our three day stay because we hadn’t asked for it in advance-something the receptionist could have told us at check-in.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION! No signage for main entrance!
The hotel is UNDER CONSTRUCTION, with no signage in the parking lot. It was very dangerous, especially for a woman traveling alone on a rainy night. I am not a fearful person, nor am I complainer, but the parking lot was dark and very far from the temporary entrance. There was no signage indicating that the hotel was under renovation prior to my arrival, nor were there signs posted in the parking lot that indicated the hotel was being renovated. More importantly, there were no signs anywhere directing customers to where the temporary entrance was located. I was not about to attempt to walk across the dirty parking lot with my heavy suitcase trying to figure out where to check in. I called the front desk and they were not clear about the entrances. They said all doors were unlocked, which also is not safe for paying customers. I first drove around looking for some indication of where the entrance was. I parked in a handicapped space next to a garbage dumpster. The hotel room was not bad, but the floor was dirty and once I checked in, I washed it with a towel to walk around barefoot. The hallway carpet, which they are replacing. The staff was as pleasant as possible, but I am sure it was not a pleasant experience for them. Also, the sign for the Radisoon was not lit up.The manager will only give a 25% refund, he said, "You have used the facility, and it served the purpose." I can't believe he is in the hospitality business! Shame on him!

Because the American Airline flight was cancelled, and some I booked the reservation through Expedia, you wouldn’t cancel and refund the reservation while In stuck overnight in Philadelphia. This is the last time I’ll book any Radisson property. Ludicrous, and I will pass this result on to many of my traveling friends.

The staff couldn't be nicer. That is where the good experience ends. There are actually families living here- There are homeless people that hang out in the court yard. The pictures on their website is not anything I have seen. It is completely under construction. There isn't a lobby - only food available is out of a stand with coffee that has taste like it is days old. This is located by the front desk. Just a desk- nothing else. This hotel is in the process of changing from The Radisson to what I believe I was told to a Days Inn. We drove around the hotel 3 times trying to find the front desk. The front doors are non existant and you enter through a back door that is unlocked all night. I could go on and on. When I mentioned the construction to the front desk person that checked us in, she said that it was posted all over their website. You look- I don't see it. Very disappointing - We are up here because of Helene. Our home in NC has no power no internet and no cell service available. Expedia shame on you for continue to rent hotels like this. I know we are not spending allot of money a night. I feel when I book thru you that you should be responsible of at least knowing that the hotel is under construction, not to mention that they house homeless families. I would appreciate a response to this survey! The staff has been great and the place is clean- Thank you- Paul and Brenda Burns
