BEWARE BED BUGS as soon as i entered the room, it has a strange smell like bleach or chemicals. Couldn’t sleep at night and kept feeling something on me, checked the mattress under the fitted sheet and it was infested with live and dead bed bugs.

Worst stay ever.
The sheets in the room were dirty. When I confronted the desk clerk he was aloof about the problem and didn’t believe me I showed him pictures of what appeared to be dried snot on the sheets he said, those pictures don’t like our sheets, although I guarantee they were. After much talking and denying, he finally assigned me to a different room. When I went into that room it was dirtier than the guest. Although I paid for the room, I ended up leaving the hotel and went to stay at a different property, at new expense.

We were in town for three days and the room worked for a place to sleep. Staff was friendly. Room material seemed dated or reused from a previous update (mis matched a little). The one main issue we had was a lack to "open" outlets for charging devices and the one outlet next to the bed that had USB ports was emitting a high pitched whine/buzzing all the time. So thankfully we didn't have much prolonged time in the room. But was a bit nerve racking when trying to fall asleep. Place was not real secure either due to side entrance being unlocked at all times and having no key in process. But for the price it was about what I anticipated.

Poor lighting. Smoke detector was beeping, and was just told to take the battery out. You could hear the other guests easily... So not very good sound proofing or damping.

Spend an extra $30 and stay somewhere else
We should have known that this was a relatively poor quality hotel by the price. We had to walk through a group of people smoking right in front of the entrance to get in the front doors. The room was very shoddily renovated. The shower curtain rod was very tenuously attached to the wall. The tub spout had a good 2" gap between its bar and the wall. There were numerous cigarette burns on the tub rim. The hallways smelled terrible. Our bed sheets had bloodstains on them. The mattress underneath was not stained, but it made me very suspicious that other rooms had bedbugs due to the pattern of the staining. We asked for either a different room or linens, and we got linens and remade the bed ourselves. The "continental breakfast" was coffee and instant oatmeal. The staff was friendly but seemed a little lost when we asked for assistance.

The decor was a little simplistic and plain! Everything else was okay except breakfast! It was more like a simple snack bar than a breakfast! There was no where near enough options to eat! Oatmeal, juice, yogurt or a granola bar is much too simple for a full breakfast at my house! My family would starve!!

We entered the hotel and Tau was on the phone letting a customer know that he would not reduce the cost of a room any further for military personnel. Initially, he was respectful. After continued conversation he began arguing with the customer and engaged in rude response. Our room had clean beds, but the pillows looked haphazardly thrown on the bed causing us to wonder if it had been cleaned properly. The toilet was in need of repair and was running and the tank refilled every minute or so. We turned on the air conditioner to try and drown out the sound of the toilet and went to sleep. At 1am we heard sounds of screaming children and adults banging around outside our door. After about 20 min and the screaming and talking and banging around, I got up to see what was going on. I realized it was the room adjoining ours and so we loudly knocked on the adjoining door as a gesture to be quiet. We also called the front desk. We heard their phone ring but the noise continued. Over an hour of screaming children and adults moving about loudly and we were now wide awake. We packed our things at 2am and went down to the front desk to request a refund. Tau was there and immediately said there would be no refund and that he couldn’t help that there were children in the room next door. I asked again to please consider a refund as the room was unacceptable even before we were woken in the middle of the night. He refused. Spend the extra twenty bucks and get a decent room elsewhere.
