Our stay was great. Our preferred room type wasn’t available upon check in (we knew this could happen per expedia’s disclaimer) but it was rectified on our second day there. Our butler, Cueto, was attentive and proactive. Dinner options were GREAT, food tasted good (per my Caribbean taste buds)… i miss it every day :( Staff were nice and helpful as well. The gym looked well stocked (didn’t use it). There wasn’t a first aid kit (or the language barrier didn’t allow one to be procured) for minor scrapes but it turned out fine. There was a variety of activities daily and nightly for all walks of people. Definitely would recommend based on my stay.

We were locked out of our hotel all week. They gave us each new wrist bands but they didn’t ever both work at the same time. Had to get security to let us in or leave the patio door opened to reenter our room. The hot water never worked. The toilet hardly flushed. The food wasn’t that good-all meat tasted horrible. The gift shop wouldn’t accept the Dominican money. Never will stay here again

I recently stayed at this resort while attending a wedding and was very disappointed. Upon check-in, I was asked for my card information and told I would be paying immediately, which was odd since I usually pay at the end of my stay, especially after booking through a third-party site. I complied and was informed my card was declined due to the resort attempting to charge $30,000 instead of $600. The staff was apathetic and unable to clarify this issue, resulting in American Express limiting my spending. After finally checking in with another card, I found the hot water wasn’t working and the bed linens were dirty. Attempts to reach the front desk went unanswered, so I had to message staff via WhatsApp, which led to Expedia helping get someone to change the linens. The staff arrived with an attitude despite the clear issue. The next day, my breakfast order was incomplete and incorrect. If my stay had been longer, I would have left for another resort. While the view is beautiful, the hospitality and service were severely lacking. I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience.

I stayed at the TRS cap Cana for 4 days. Great place to relax and the service was great. Don’t pre-plan your excursions they will not have any communication with the hotel around your travel. Plan everything from the hotel. They need more activities for get for guest

When you need to unplug, this is the place.
Amazing all the way around. Service was impeccable, the facilities were beautiful, and our room was quite comfortable. It could have used a few more food choices, but it was low season, so we didn't expect much. If you want a vacation where you can unplug, this is the place. If Punta Cana is not on your vacation list, it should be.

Unfortunately this is not 5 stars , food mediocre lunch is the worst fake burgers and starch hot dogs and lowest quality seafood for what we paid this was really not ok ! I calculated for $50 more per day they can serve best food instead of what was happening, breakfast ok , STAFF AMAZING PEOPLE BUT THEIR HANDS ARE TIED , NEVER AGAIN , Also this facility has no functioning beach ! Beware of that !

My husband and I have been here for 5 days/4 nights (we ended up extending our stay) and it’s been AMAZING! Nicole - aerobics - my husband had a blast! Charly - great animator and super fun! Luis M and Edwin - best bartenders hands down! Super friendly and make amazing drinks! Stephanie - only other Dominican I know that spells her name like me lol Thais - great waitress, very attentive! Angie - very helpful and always available for any questions Julia Robert (LOL) great communication and very attentive! Was on my way back to the hotel and asked her to order us food to the room and it arrived as we were entering our room! The resort is small so everyone knows you and in these past few days I haven’t seen an attitude from anyone here at the hotel! From maintenance to supervisors, everyone is so nice! I will definitely return again!
