This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. The associates are always friendly and helpful and it is always clean. I like to take the shuttle to and from the airport.The shuttle gets me to the airport on time and the drivers are very nice.. Will stay here again when visiting family and friends in Albany

I'd stay again
Room was clean and tidy, and no noticeable smell. Shuttle was waiting at the airport, and there was no wait to take me back the next day. Service was great overall. There's not much more I can say since I was only there for about 10 hours.

This place is pretty run down, dated and old for over $250 for a night. They really get to upcharge for the location. Would choose any of the many other hotels in the immediate area in the future.

Understaffed and the staff that was there was not great. The rooms need to be refurbished - old, beat up and smelly. Too expensive for what you get. One plus is the shuttle service (although the shuttle is beat up and old too).

Dated hotel
The hotel just appears to be dated. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom had issues. Lots of extra caulk around fixtures which indicates leaks, poor installation, and/or old. Maybe all three in this case. Some mold growing in some of the caulk. It was fine, but just fine.

When we arrived at check-in time, we were told our room was not ready. An hour later, when we returned, we learned our reservation for a handicapped accessible room for three people was not honored because, we were told, a large group was at the hotel. We were offered a smaller room that was ADA compliant, or a larger room that was not ADA compliant. We chose the latter, but were sent to the room that was too small for the three of us. We moved to the other room after complaining. We had to ask three times for sofa bed bedding to be sent to our room. FInally, we retrieved it ourselves. The night staff seemed to be totally unaware of customer service principles. The cleaning staff completed their job perfectly, while the front desk staff (at night only) couldn't seem to get anything right. I wonder who gets paid more.

I found a reservation for a certain price, when i got there it was double and they charged me extra on top. When i simply asked to explain the front desk guy, Harry, was So rude on mamy leveles of disrespect, especially being someone who converses with guests. We got to our room to find hair throughout the bathroo. And mystery stains on our bed sheets. Called down to have it changed out and their response was, come to the front desk and we'll give you sheets for YOU to change it?!!?! Im sorry, for the price i had iust paid, along with complete Rudeness, then tell me to do it myself when someone clearly cant do their job right?! MIND BLOWN! Doors were stuck so bad that we had to use our whole body to push it open, and then again to close, both main door and bathroom door. Cold shower....it was absolutely horrible. Last but not least, we chose thia hotel because it was next to the airport with shuttle service, which noone set uo for us at 345am! Not impressed with this property AT all, will never stay at Hilton again!
