Long wait to check in. Finally we got our room and I went to wash my hands and the water was not draining. They did send someone to fix it. He told us that it needs a part to fix it but can remove the stopper so that the water will drain. That was fine with us. After a long drive it was frustrating. The bed was very comfortable and we left in the morning. The only reason we stayed in this place because they have non smoking rooms. Will not stay here again.

This is best of area casinos. However it is beginning to smell of skunk weed in the halls. Need to have security presence.

Check in was horrible to say the least. The girl “Diamond “ at front desk definitely isn’t the most pleasant person. We reserved a smoking room and of course didn’t receive that and was told first come basis which is understandable if you haven’t already made reservations and paid for the room like we did. Then we asked her where to park and only answer we received was in parking garage which is great if we had an idea of where to go considering we were on the 27th floor, lots of luggage and no and no cart in sight to use for luggage. When we arrived to our room there were no trash bags in garage cans, no wash cloths and room definitely didn’t smell clean. It’s pretty sad after people travel 8-9 hours and arrive to check in there motel you have to deal with a miserable and snotty front desk attendant and any question we asked her she looked at us like we were stupid pretty much. This morning at check out everything was great there was an older lady checking people out and she was great not to mention very respectful! Needless to say when we checked out this morning we decided to not check back in at gold strike , we took our money & business to the horseshoe next door.

Staff in the cafe area was rude. We went three times and each time, no smiles, no courtesy, walking away while we had been in line for quite a while, clipped answers to questions, general air of don’t care. Made it seem like they hated their jobs. New member desk staff was rude. Rooms in need of a deep clean. Old and worn furniture.

This property is beautiful. Decorated for Christmas and was stunning. Room is nice and spacious. Buffet was something to be desired. Wasn’t worth the price. But the staff there was wonderful. Staff everywhere were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and great hospitality, rooms were excellent, and the staff is very friendly and helped out thorough on the games we didn’t know how to play, even got a free night to stay for playing so good, this place also has a Tesla charger that is free to use on site in the garage
