The front desk lady was rude, and was cursing someone out for lying to her. My balcony door wouldnt completely shut, it cause bugs or bettles to crawl into the room

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was filthy. The AC in our room broke in the middle of the night. It was like something out of a bad Halloween movie. Super dark. Dirty. The room was filthy. Even the breakfast area was unclean. And good luck getting a front desk staff or management to speak with you about concerns. I will never stay here again

The room that I was in was dirty. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Not to mention, the tub had a dirty ring around It was disgusting. I did not remain in this room, but the second room that I was placed in was no better. Needless to say, I would not book the comfort Inn again.

Its nice,but they are supposed to be cleaning the rooms every morning. Imagine i stayed there for 3 nights and extended for another one day. Al the trash are full and the room not clean for the 4 nights

Good hotel with great staff!
Pool is fixed and was crystal clear. The hotel called personally to let me know. Everyone on staff were friendy and helpful. It looks like some updating is being done. My room had a few water stains on the ceiling, but my sons room did not. Linens were clean. You cannot beat the proximity to Carowinds. Easy walking distance. Price was great.

On entry road to Carowinds - great hot breakfast
The hotel is nice and clean with excellent access to the Carowinds park (about 1 mile walk to the gate) but easy to drive to/from with several restaurants are close by for dining. The breakfast space is nice and large with many hot options available including sausage gravy and biscuits, make your own waffles, eggs, sausage.

Had a rough start to the stay with unexpected high pet fee. When asked front desk about it. They simply said can find somewhere else to stay and get money back from Expedia. Room was non refundable and fully paid. After 15hrs of driving. That was the last thing wanted to hear. Paid the fee cause and forgave then for their rudeness. Room was comfy clean with lots of space but found dark. Lighting was dim. So overall alight place.

This is " I'm so tired I cant drive home" kinda place. The rooms are ok. The bathroom was a hot mess....literally. The fan did not work and after a shower water had pooled on the ceiling and it would rain after your shower. You could tell they knew because there many layers of paint over the bubbled paint. If you are a big person you will not fit in this bathroom. The toilet almost hits the door. With the sink, toilet and tub you may have 12 inches of floor space to stand while you shut the door. I would say leave it open to venting but then you would have to step in the toilet to get in the tub. lets not talk about the shower curtian. It may as well been a paper bag because once it gets wet it just leaks all over the floor. Step carefully out because wll the water from the rain cloud above you and the shower curtian you will feel like you are on ice. You have to go out side to the parking lot for the pool access. There is no access from inside the hotel. At the current time the elevators were down. They did not offer a discount for it and just said have a nice night. Limited towels. We needed 2 more towels after the pool and he wanted us to bring down the wet towels after we had gotten dry towels. Breakfast was nice. Hot and cold options. The rooms could use a major over haul. The hall carpet needs a major cleaning also. Did i mention the elevator was out? That also means house keeping had to lug the supplies up the stairs (all 4 floors).
