The location was good. Right behind a fabulous steakhouse, Ippy’s. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Our room however was a different story. There was a noticeable odor as soon as we checked in. The bed pillows were the size of throw pillows. Never in my times of staying at a hotel have I seen bed pillows that small. The A/C unit was not working properly and did not cool our room at all. Fortunately the front desk staff did all they could at the time and provided us with a fan for our room. We were only there for one night so that helped.
Short staffed. The person running the front counter is also mixing waffle mix. Asked for towel replacement but didn't get them until we went back to ask later. Only 3 tables and 8 chairs for breakfast-not acceptable. Also, not cleaned so quite nasty to eat at a table where everything is sticky. Absolutely no sugar free syrup, drinks, jelly, cereal.....not good for a diabetic. Waffle mix was empty, then not mixed well (likely because one person was doing everything. She was very nice but still alone from what I could tell. Will probably not even stay at a baymont ever again.
Room was kind of gross as far as cleanliness. The bathroom was dirty and the sheets didn’t smell clean. On the positive side there was an excellent restaurant right next door in the same parking lot.
Everything was good. Until the room below heat/ac unit started up. The sound was very loud and my room floor vibrated. I didn't sleep that night. I did ask if they could check and see if they could fix the problem, but next night same thing. Hope that the get it fix for the next guest
My husband had stayed here twice prior and said it was okay. However, this time I went with him. There were cigarette burns in the carpet. The vanity wasn't clean. The worst part was taking an ICE COLD SHOWER in the morning. Unacceptable. We will be traveling often to the area, unfortunately this is convenient. Not sure if we will stay again, looking around.
Staff was friendly enough, blamed lack of hot water on first morning to workers staying at the hotel though it was not full, remote needed batteries,
frayed bath towels ...key card didnt work on second morning...asked for compensation but said I had to contact expedia
