I normally don’t waste my time but I feel that this is worth it. The moment I got into my room , I found two cockroaches in my bathroom . As my daughter sat a the bed there was another one crawling out of the sheets . After ten minutes of being in the room I went downstairs and spoke to the front desk to describe the unsanitary conditions . I asked to be lease be moved and upon entering the second room there were even more roaches in that bathroom then the previous . I ended up having to leave this hotel and drive two and half hours back home because there was no way I could stay in a hotel like this . The front desk acted like it was normal and did nothing to rectify the situation . I will be disputing the charge on my card and submitted a claim BBB. This hotel is unsanitary and needs to be shut down

The biggest issue with this Clarion property is that for $230 a night the place really needs to do a major renovation. Carpets coming up, sad vacant convenience store and extinct restaurant, truly doesn’t look like it’s been updated since the 80s. Ghastly lighting in the room, seriously there was a hole in the ceiling above a shelf/minifridge area where this guest observed the wiring etc. No continental breakfast, person at desk didn’t ask about our impressions of our stay. Can’t even imagine what the gym and pool were like. Stay somewhere else!

If i could give zero stars I definitely would. This place is so rundown and neglected. The front desk staff has no customer service. They are rude and dont care about the guests experience at all. This hotel is rated as 3 stars. That is a joke. This place should be condemned.

The check in was a nightmare, they didn’t have the informs about my stay at the front desk, the front desk lady was rude claiming that it was not her problem, that it was Expidia’s problem and that that people should make the reservation directly with the hotel. I spend 45 to an hour for the checking. Thanked told to contact Expedia and that was another nightmare with the automated system. Finally and magically they found the info and the confirmation of my stay. I gotta say, I doubt to stay at that property in the future, and I will think twice before I use Expedia again

The facility was run down and shady. The town it was in was perfectly fine and safe, but the actual room/property was just not up to quality standards. The hallway rug was bunched up and we tripped on it multiple times. We paid for two nights, and only stayed one because we just did not feel it was up to a quality standard.

Looks like they are ready to shut down this hotel. Looks abandoned and is not updated. That said, my room was comfortable and relatively quiet, after I requested a switch from a first floor room with a broken window lock to a second floor room. I was concerned with exterior and interior doors that were propped open despite signage that they should remain locked at all times. The fire/smke detector in my room did not look operational (there was no light indicating it was working).

The hallway stunk like cat pee, the outside doors did not lock at night, the room had a mildew smell. The water in the bathroom sink ran continuously. I could go on and on. There are more people living in this hotel vs travelers. We encountered people hanging out on the stairwell smoking. Not to mention there is no elevator in the building and they didn’t have a room available on the first floor for us at check in which made it extremely difficult to carry luggage upstairs. The ice machines didn’t work vending machines were empty. Room was NASTY. Don’t get me started on the shower I went to a friends to shower for the 5 days of our stay.

This place needs all the carpeting replaced, fresh paint and new vending and ice machines. It is basically a large motel trying to sell itself as a hotel. Most of the motel is not being used and the bar/restaurant looked really sketchy and we decided to go elsewhere for food/drink.

There was absolutely nothing I liked about this hotel. Expedia's version of a five-star hotel is sorely mistaken, misleading and needs to be updated to a two or a three. The there was no lighting in the parking lot, that parking lot needed to be redone, you walk in and the place smelled of oldness, the person at the front desk was ever so helpful which I will give him that. I had to walk through a hallway of carpeting that was coming up in different areas which created a trip hazard, travel in an elevator in which the floor looked like it was going to collapse under me, and endure and odd smell in the halls. The ice machine was old and broken. I got to my room was so disgusted. It was old and had a lingering scent I can't place. The only clean part of the entire room was the bed. I was not comfortable in the area either. I didn't feel safe in or out of the hotel. I left 20 minutes later and spent the extra money to stay somewhere else. This place needs a complete overhaul.
