I will NEVER go back to this hotel. The customer service was horrible.
A young employee with blond hair was notified that we (myself and elderly 79 yr old veteran father) were checking out a bit late. My father walks with a cane, making him a bit slower. It was approximately 15-20 mins past 11:00 when we made it to the reception counter.
It was very clear that the staff DO NOT communicate amongst themselves, considering they checked us in for another night on my fathers credit card.
The redhead at reception is extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional.
She seemed to think it was ok to address my father and I in a disrespectful, demeaning, reprimanding manner because we didn’t check-out before 11:00, and she argued whether staff was notified or not on our late check-out, calling us a liar. She was especially irritated about having to refund the extra night she charged us. She was soo angry that her ears and face were bright red as she continued raising her voice at us.
All my father and I wanted to do was to leave. We weren’t allowed to leave until she was done badgering us.
My father had to tell her, “If it makes you happy and it makes you feel better, charge me the extra night.” And she said ok. When he requested a receipt for the extra night being charged to his credit card, she retracted and said she was going to “be nice” and refund the charge, to then proceed to repeat herself over and over about checking out late.
