VIP amenity is a joke. 2 drinks. Also, the woman at reception made a big deal of giving me an "upgrade." Absolute garbage!! Gave is a room next to the loudest ice maker I've ever heard, and a view of the public restrooms in the adjoining park. She even said "don't tell anyone I'm doing this upgrade, we're not supposed to." Unbelievably offputting. To tired to complain, were only in the room to sleep.

This is a below expectations We left after just one night. The room smelled like bleach at check in. The structure shook as we walked through it. The bathroom floor was so dirty and grout has not been deep cleaned since installed. I would not recommend. I’m sure for the same price you can stay at the holiday inn or similar and it would probably be better.

The property is by the bay, but the walls are paper thin and my upgrade, or so they said was right by the pool and the huge wedding reception that was going on. It was extremely loud and very uniform table. Also it wasn’t a real upgrade at all.

The mattress was not comfortable. We could hear the TV from next door and music from a wedding, but luckily both turned off about 11:30PM. The room was very clean and location are great!

The Dana is a beautiful complex. The food is really good. There are great views. There is a fresh fish house across the street and a spa across the street. Rooms are very nice and staff was friendly.

Nice property. They have secure parking but it costs extra 30 bucks a night which seems to be a theme of San Diego hotels. Was disappointed at the lack of included breakfast. There is a nice restaurant on property that provides good food options. Very convenient location and the beds were comfy. 4 stars overall.

The properly itself is fine. Good location to get around to attractions if visiting. But my interaction with one of the staff was not wonderful. I called the day before to confirm we could drop our bags off earlier than checking in and was told yes. But when we got there, I was asked an early check-in and i said I didn’t know what she was referring to. Instead of telling me, she took my bags and my credit card was charged for something I don't know because i have yet to get a receipt. Besides this, it was a nice place to stay at and all the other staff were pleasant.

We were not told that we were going to be charged $29.00 per day for parking. Second, we asked about the upgrade and were told we were not eligible. We were told we would receive 2 drinks per day and when we asked we were told there was a charge of 19.95 per day. We have decided to go back to Little Italy next time.
