UNSANITARY - THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD-
I opened the door of the Hotel room the Stench hit me like a freight train. The Window was wide open, clearly, they were trying to mask the smell of the Moldy, Tainted room. As I looked up, the Ceiling fan was on high. I could see a Ring of filth & literal dirt caked on the ceiling around the fan(see pics). There were cobwebs hanging down from the walls like they were stuck in time. As I walked, I could feel crusty dried up dirt crunch under my shoes. I looked down to see caked dirt on the floor. And there were these red spots on the floor, pillow & curtains. I immediately knew these were blood spots. I have watched my fair share of Murder Mysteries & know what blood spots look like - Was there a murder in this room? I glanced at the outdated, ugly bedspread I was horrified to see stains of only god know what on it. This hotel was something out of a horror movie from the 80's. As I walked into the bathroom trying not to touch anything for fear I might contract the Plague or something worse. The bathroom was even more foul and nasty then the bedroom. There was BLACK MOLD all over the shower it had been there living in plain sight. There were long black hairs on the walls(not mine im blonde). Not to mention the TV was broken as were the lights on the bedside. We immediately ran back to the office that was open till 6:00pm. It was 5:45 CLOSED - there was a sign to call the after hours phone. We did 30+ times no answer. DO NOT STAY HERE-SEE PIC'S! *update refund refused by owner>

Buyer be ware - was NOT a well-maintained hotel
No hot water in bathroom sink; heater did not work; window screen popped out & not able to pop back in. Would not stay again, definitely was not worth the price we paid. My son’s ceiling fan did not work in his room.

Good value for the price
Easy, quick check-in. Friendly service. Offered card for 2 free cinnamon rolls from the restaurant next door for breakfast, which we got and were tasty. Room was clean, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were nice. We left the window cracked open and the fan on. In early November it was cold and perfect. There was a window fan and a space heater in the closet we could have used if needed, but we didn’t need them.

We have stayed here several times over the years. However THIS trip was our last one. No one at the desk to check us in. In the break/snack room there was food all over the floor and liquids spilled everywhere. When the manager/owner showed up I pointed it out to him and in replied that someone was sabotaging the place and there was nothing he could do.

This place was really great for walking and just a short drive to visit Morro Rock and appreciate the Pacific Coast, see otters and seals. The new Maritime Museum is a plus also!

It was ok. It was an overpriced 2 star motel. Good location but small room, everything was old looking in the room. In addition to it being overpriced there was an additional $30 pet fee for worn out rooms that a pet couldn’t really make any worse. I wouldn’t stay here again, but the location was great and convenient.

We loved the proximity to all things Morro Bay! Walkable to many restaurants, shops, and excursions, and quiet at night. Unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the dog-friendly room.

When we arrived at the property there was a piece of paper telling us just to go to our room. Key was on the table. There was hair on the bathroom walls. Shower was small, no air conditioning or heat. Windows didn’t lock and smelled horrible. When I woke up there was two bugs on the bed looked to be possibly bed bugs. But I’m not a bug expert. Wouldn’t stay again. I hate to write this but would want to know.
