Nice but needs a little upkeep
We really enjoyed our stay but like other people have mentioned, the tooms need some work. Definitely needs to be repainted, toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, things like that. The shower was new and beautiful and the view from the restaurant was incredible. It’s very quiet there and feels very safe. Bed was super comfortable and we loved having a fireplace

The service at the restaurant was terrible. I waited 30 minutes for my order and still nothing came. The server that took my order was rude and made some rude comments that made me and the family next to me uncomfortable. It was a waste of time waiting for my breakfast order.

We booked well in advance and got a great price, the room had a nice view of the bay, and a fireplace. The room was nicely decorated in a nautical theme. The bathroom needed paint and some maintenance. It's a large property and needed some attention to details.

Rude Front Desk staff
I'm a little upset with the Front Desk staff this morning. My wife has Parkinsons disease and occasionally has an incontinence issue at night. Even though i put Chux pads down on the bed before see got into bed. A little bit of urine got on the sheets. I ask the Front desk to see if I could have housekeeping change the sheets. He acted rude and said I should have let them know the day prior by 8pm. I didn't know this would happen but it did and i feel the rudness of the staff was wrong

Didn't look like photos. Room was dirty and unstocked. There were FIVE completely empty shampoo bottles in my room and no others available. I had one wash cloth, no hand towels and two bath towels. no air conditioning. Shower door and screen door were both extremely hard to open and in need of maintenance. Room also wasn't ready at 4:00pm check-in.

Clean room, soft bed. Across from the state park so pretty quiet. Be mindful of what you want as far as a view; we booked with what we thought was a view but ended up with a 'partial view w/ balcony', which was pretty equivalent to no view as you looked at the bay beyond a parking lot and another set of buildings.

The hotel property is located at the beginning of a the state park with large tress and shade, and the cormorant birds are everywhere, so keeping the property clean and tidy is a challenge that has not been dealt with well, but it’s not horrible. The main building where the front desk, restaurant & bar are located was very clean and modern, and pictures shown of these areas accurately reflect the space. However, the room pictures shown are only for some of the rooms, and we know this, because the first room they gave us was maybe 10X20 with a low ceiling, a modernized bathroom, as shown in the picture, but the bed, etc. made it feel like an older motel type of room. However, per our request we were upgraded- for a minimal charge- to a beautiful, modern, spacious room with open beam ceilings and a view of the water- this was in the 400 building. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
