Excellent staff , Beach and pool area is great !!

This place was perfect! Our room was clean and renovated. The staff bent over backwards to take care of us. The food was great. There were no bugs. The beach was postcard beautiful! They do have people on the beach selling things, but they are very respectful and if you are not interested they move on. You do have to make reaervations for the restaurants at 8am, but you can make 3 days of reservations at a time. We booked our tours at the hotel and they were so much fun. I will definitely go back.

Although the rooms are slightly dated, the property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Outstanding staff were Captain Juan Adolfo Flopentine, Marien De Leon Paulpno and Pedro Arpsmendy , both of the tropical pool side bar (at the quiet pool). There are 2 pools. One called the quiet pool and one the loud pool. At the loud pool there are games and music all day. THE of the best tips that I can give is one given to me at the desk while trying to make dinner reservations. They will only give you 3 dinner reservations at their restaurants. I was told that the restaurants open at 6 PM. You can go to the restaurant at 6 PM and tell them that you have no reservation, but could they please seat you. It worked every single time and we had gourmet food at every restaurant every single night. Enjoy.

When we got there, a staff member offered to show us around and wanted us to leave our bags in an unattended area where there were construction workers around. My husband told him that he didn’t want to leave our personal belongings there so he assumed that we had a fire arm in our luggage. He warned us that fire arms weren’t permitted, that there were cameras everywhere and that the owner was on the property. He was very suspicious of us and didn’t let up until I offered to let him search one of our bags. That was very unpleasant for us. The prices at the restaurant are excessively high and some of the portions are very small. Also, there was no hot water in the room bathroom. We let the staff know but nothing was done. Finally, the ambiance music is horrible and doesn’t feel like you’re in a tropical country. I do want to give a shoutout to Kelvin. He was very nice and took very good care of us. However, we will not be returning to this hotel.

The size of the suites were amazing In the balcony was absolutely beautiful! The patio furniture on the balcony might need a little bit more attention from the cleaning staff and providing a few more towels to the room. Everything else was absolutely spectacular. The king size bed was so comfortable including the bedding and pillows. I would definitely recommend this place. A few more vegetarian options would be great for breakfast but overall it was absolutely delicious. The cleaning stuff was very friendly.
