Sandford-on-Thames accommodation with spa

Outstanding hotel, highly recommend!

I enjoyed everything about my stay ~ wonderful, attentive & helpful staff, beautifully appointed rooms, everything on hand and historical character of the building....perfect for my visit to the Ashmolean, Pitt Rivers & the heart of Oxford.

Superlative staff, room accommodations were perfect. Close to the High Street , Magdalen, but tucked just enough away to avoid extra noise. Loved it!

Love this Hotel. Recommend getting a cell on 'A block' upper levels. There's something very cool about exiting your room onto the prison landing with all the cells lined up. Very nicely appointed rooms, a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was top notch. Town and station are minutes away on foot. Be sure to check out the original cell on the ground floor or visit the old jail museum next door.

Perfect place for our family of 3 to spend 2 days visiting Oxford. Teenager slept in the sofa bed which he said was comfortable. Nice walk into town. Didn’t eat at hotel but dining looked nice. Would definitely return.

A pleasant and quiet location with parking. Great facilities. Gardens, spa and dining. Easy access from the A40 and just outside Oxford
