Nice property, recently updated, decent breakfast included. Couple things we werent as happy about..in room safe did not work, front desk could only say they had been having problems with them. Then, when we arrived back to our room one afternoon, our door had been left propped open, front desk said new girl had cleaned room and it was an oversight. No apology or offer to check room before we entered. s

To start off, I called to notify the hotel that we would be checking in late (11pm), and it was not an issue at all. When we arrived, the front desk staff was friendly and informative (notifying me of breakfast and pool hours). My family and I (2 adults, 4 kids) booked the two-double bed room with the pullout couch. The room was clean and rather spacious, already had the bedding for the couch in the room. (We have stayed in hotels where you have to ask the front desk for the bedding.) Beds and pillows were comfy. In the morning, breakfast was good—waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, English muffins, yogurt, cereal, juices, and the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had. We were heading to Cedar Point for the day, and it was an easy 20-25 minute drive for us. Would definitely stay again!

High Praise for Sleep Inn & Suites Port Clinton
This was a family vacation to Cedar Point amusement park. We made reservations on Hotels.com at Sleep Inn which was almost 40% cheaper than our previous stay at Extend Stay America-Cleveland. There were more staff and they seemed happier and less stressed. The hotel staff was local, spoke English and very friendly and accommodating. Based on our terrible breakfast at Extended Stay Hotel America—Cleveland, we were shockingly pleased! Breakfast included hot scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. We made fresh waffles and there were several fruit juices, cold yogurt, and hot oatmeal. Bagels and English muffins with toaster. Breakfast was well attended but very well organized. Food was quickly replenished. We arrived late the night before due to late return from Cedar Park, we did not have any problem with a late check-out. As a budget conscious family trip, we could not be more pleased with our experience Sleep Inn & Suites Port Clinton.

The receptionist made a super quick and easy check in. Room was nice but the tv wouldn’t change channels so that was weird. Otherwise, a good value for the property.

Excellent!
The staff was wonderful! The hotel was nice and clean and updated. Had no funny smells. Shower had great pressure and so thankful they had shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the room!!! I had forgotten mine. Will book again next summer when we go to Cedar Point!
