Nightmare in Santa Ana.
This place looks like it hasn't been remodeled. The room smells of mildew, inefficient AC. Poor front desk staff. Poor fitness center, inoperable, elevators, stained carpeting, etc.

Rundown hotel
While we waited at the lobby rugs were stained so were the chairs and couches . Once in our room the room had a smell and couch, chairs and carpet were dirty and stained, bathroom was dirty and the corners of the door were rusted and dirty . Not the mentioned that I was we were getting unpacked someone else walked I out room with a key given when they checked in ! Went out to dinner and came back out key didn’t work and had to go back to get another key , I will never go back to this hotel .

The pictures on their website are misleading. My first room was not welcoming at all and felt dirty and look dirty. The couch made our bodies itch. The AC was barely blowing out cold air. The room was outdated. I asked for another room and was able to feel slightly comfortable. Overall I wouldn’t book here again.

Embassy Suite is no longer a premium place as compared to years ago. I understand after COVID many things changed but for the price and add on fees it is no longer my best choice when travel. It looks more of a western hotel or la quinta rather than a Hilton places.

Terrible experience with customer service
I was checking in at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana with Ezmerlada, after a long drive and hectic day. I was occupied with a zoom meeting during this process and she mentioned happy hour drinks, so I took a pen from a cup full of pens to jot this down. She abruptly said don't touch my stuff and I questioned what stuff she was talking about confused on what encited this weird response. She replied don't grab my pens, and I told her I needed to write a note because my memory is weak and I'd forget what she had said about happy hour drinks. She responded with mockery and disrespect. Then I told her I didn't understand why she was reacting this way, I was being cooperative. Ezmeralda expressed that she felt threatened and said she would bring security to kick me out of the hotel. I understood then that this was a racially motivated reaction and she was discriminating against me. We talked to the manager about this situation and even though he was sympathetic, nothing was resolved. He said he would give her more training. This is not proper customer service and I will never return to this hotel. To make matters worse, a guest opened our door when we were sleeping at 12 am because they gave him the room we had already checked in to. They put us in a dangerous situation if the person who walked in wasn't a nice guy because anything could've happened. My children and I were terrified luckily the man was polite. Nonetheless, this was an invasion of our privacy. Stayed 5 days.

This hotel needs a complete remodel. Everything is very old and dated. The rooms smelled of mold and humidity. Stains on the carpet, and stained shower curtain. Ice machines did not work through out the hotel and laundry took quarters only and the front desk did not have any. The in and out parking cards often did not work. Will not be staying here again.
