Location, Location, Location
All the good stuff: This property is a 3 minute walk from public beach access on the emerald coast (which we spent time at nearly every day). It is also across the street (road 30A) from the Timpoochee walking/bike trail. The trail provides access to local restaurants, other services, the Seaside farmers market, and a local grocery store. This area is practically deserted at non-holiday times. We felt we had the beach all to ourselves except during the week of Thanksgiving. The layout of this home was perfect for two couples the bottom floor can be completely closed off from the top floor, with thermostats for each area. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
Some of the challenges: This area is active with construction traffic. The week of Thanksgiving was extremely busy with holiday travelers. 30A and the walking/biking pathway were usually clogged with people by 11 AM. Because of the traffic noise we did not use the patios much. The home itself could use a deep cleaning and appliances could be updated. The kitchen on the lower level is about 10 X10 but functional. The bathroom for the upper level is on the lower level.
We were at the property for 30 days and enjoyed every minute of it.
