Look no further..

This property is setup perfectly for families. Tons of beds, big couches in the living room, spacious kitchen with large dining room table and so much deck space! Best back yard we have seen in Cashiers… fire pit with a gorgeous creek that runs the property line. Hosts are amazing and very responsive! We will definitely be back.

Great Cabin!!

This cabin was beautiful and EXTREMELY WELL STOCKED!! We stayed for Thanksgiving week. Kitchen was very well stocked and owners even left me a roasting pan for turkey. Cabin is spacious, well decorated and clean. Plenty of towels, sheets/covers. Back patio area is beautiful with gas grill and fire pit. There is a beautiful creek right in the backyard perfect for kids to adventure out in. Nearby there are plenty of gorgeous waterfalls and hiking. We did whitewater falls and Gorges state park with a toddler and 2 kids with no problems. Micas restaurant nearby was delicious, as well as The Fix for breakfast. Overall it was a wonderful stay and owners were very responsive via email. Thank you for sharing this great cabin.

This is our 2 nd time staying here

Plenty of room for our annual family vacation in Sapphire Valley . Loved the kitchen upgrades with the double oven as we like to take turns cooking. So comfy reclining sofas in the updated living room with a large table for board games. We had so much fun here! Hope to be back again!

Awesome mountain getaway!

Wonderful, roomy, relaxing, and fun for all ages! Creek and porches were a big hit. We were a group of 8 including 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We hope to stay again!

Property nice/ but cleaning not so good.

The property is beautiful. We did have some issues with the fridge not working. We got there on Friday and someone came to fix it Saturday at noon, after he did that we had to wait the afternoon for the fridge to get cold enough to use. So we only had a fridge for one day. Then we went to use the oven and found a dutch oven pan full of grease from the last time the cabin was used. Then we washed a load of towels, but when we opened the dryer it was still full from the last time it was used. The dishwasher was full from the last time as well. I have pictures over everything mentioned and sent them to the owner. I don’t feel like i should have been charged a cleaning fee or even a night or two. Because we spent our time Saturday getting in touch with the owner for all of these issues and cleaning out the grease pan, cleaning out the dishwasher and getting the towels out of the dryer ourselves after someone else used it before us. Correct me if im wrong. But you do have cleaning service . Right?

The property is just as described, perfect location for us. Nice and quiet. The fire pit and the fireplace were nice to have on the chilly nights. Superb property and amenities

We could not be happier with this property. From the relaxing rocking chairs on the front porch to the stream in the back yard where the children played all week, I cannot list all of the wonderful attributes about this property and its location in the mountains. The house was clean and equipped with anything and everything to make our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were extremely helpful with check in, check out and things to do locally information. I will be renting this house again if available in the future.

The house is very comfortable and a great layout. We came to snow tube and it was excellent. Loved the firepit area with the brook. The best part was that it snowed several days but the roads to the house were scrapped early this morning. We had no problems getting out of the neighborhood. Look forward to using this house again.

The Best Quit get away Ever

I would love another stay because I love the layout of the house and area . But there were a good many spider webs and a big spider (only one we saw) but the screened in pour had was not cleaned . But we did not use it . And one item the fridge did not seem to keep things cold , but it was a nice one , but maybe should check on it sometime. I know this is a little pickie things but just wanted to say something about this so the next group will be pleased more. One more thing the flower in the down stairs half bath needs to be cleaned or changed. But other wise I and all loved the house and fire pit we had a great fire in that . One more thing my daughter said there were no hand towels upstairs in the bathroom. Ok but truly the house is great and hope this will not keep us from another stay in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom. Thanks Linda Sapp The weather was great also

Great weekend with the family!

The property at Spruce Trail was very nice for our family... three adult children, spouses and three kids under five, a total of eight adults and three small children. The cabin nestled in the rhododendron with the stream and fire pit out back was perfect for exploring and relaxing with the small children. The seldom traveled streets made for lovely walks through the forested community. Should you choose, you will enjoy.

In the mountains

We rented the house for our 3 children, spouses and grandchildren coming in from S. Carolina, Oregon, and Minnesota. We had 2 doing working vacations and the house proved to have several getaway porches for quiet work. The internet is weak and spotty but the workers were able to continue at the visitor's center where it was strong and the rooms quiet. We loved the house. It was well equipped and we cooked all of our meals in situ. The young grandchildren loved the backyard creek and forest, spending much time exploring . The Recreation Center is quite impressive with so many opportunities. The cost is only $2/day for adults and children are free. We mostly used the pools, the lake, and miniature golf, but much more was available. There are many opportunities to hike trails, so we did. All were nicely cleared and some led to beautiful waterfalls. As a word of caution, the narrow roads frequently have a deep drop-off along the edge so be careful not to go off the road. We did and blew out 2 tires! That being said, We really enjoyed the week in the mountains and would definitely return.

Perfect Getaway for Family of 10 (or more)

House and surrounding areas was perfect for our family of 10! Kitchen was well stocked for preparing our Thanksgiving meal and accommodations were superb.
