"Gull" villa at Barefoot Bungalows is a 2 bedroom /1 full bath villa, spacious living area, fully furnished, located less than 1500 feet from Siesta Key Beach. This 1945 Triplex villa has 3 villa’s each with 2 bedrooms 1 bath. This villa GULL master bedroom has a king bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a queen. The living area has large sitting area with a daybed that offers twin bed. Gull is a two bedroom villa and one bathroom. The villa GULL has a very spacious living area with 46"flat screen Smart TV, dining area with glass table and 4 chairs. The ample space is great for families and extended stays. The full kitchen has appliances, dishware for guests. Full kitchen to include Standard Fridge, Full Stove/Oven, Keurig Coffee and cooking utensils for guest. Dishware for the days you plan to dine in. Simple and beachy theme with all the comforts of home. Sitting area off the living room offers extra sitting space with a daybed with 2 chairs to relax after a day of beaching on Siesta Key. All linens provided along with 8 complete sets of plush towels. Welcome toiletries to include, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, dish liquid, sponge, kitchen towel, trash liners, and lotion.

More importantly this 1945 Triplex is less than 1500 feet to the soft sand of Siesta Key Beach access #3. No car needed as Beach Access #3 located to the right and beach access #2 located to left (steps away). For your beach needs, we are happy to provide 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels and wagon. Spend a week or reserve a month and you won’t be disappointed. Park BBQ grill added to complex and each unit has exterior seating. Complex does have a courtesy washer/dryer located on the first level by walkway at no charge for easy use for guest. Keyless entry and concierge service to handle requests. Good location. Responsive host.

The unit GULL was nicely restored after flood damage from the hurricane and Ms. Matthews is a good host. The neighborhood, on the other hand, has not fully recovered. There remains a lot of litter/debris on the ground and there is active and noisy construction of large concrete hurricane-proof buildings adjacent to Barefoot Bungalows (my reasons for 4 not 5 stars). The beach remains beautiful, and Siesta Key Village is open with the crowds returning.

Everything was as expected with the property - however, there was no communication about the cleanup and construction going on all around - I know it was out of your control with the hurricane damage, but I would say that we overpayed for the condition of the area.Lisa did a very good job with communication and the checkin process - Thanks

Great place bad timing

We absolutely loved our bungalow and Lisa was the best. Unfortunately hurricane Helene blessed us with a visit. We made the decision to stay since the eye was in the panhandle. Bad decision. Lisa made sure we were safe and moved us to another property on higher ground and made arrangements for us to get off the island the day after. Above and beyond. Thank you for everything!

The photos gave me the wrong impression that I will be in a confortable place, and the air conditioner is not a central air conditioner, and the small air conditioners don’t satisfy the need, and went in and out several times especially at night and the hot don’t let you sleep

Vintage Gem!

Our second time staying here. Already booked again for next year. Love the privacy, walking to the beach and the village was a plus for our teens to go and get ice cream etc. Beach chairs, umbrella, extra towels even suntan lotion!

Favorite spot in siesta

This is my third time at this place, just smazing. Place is super clean and cozy, Host lisa is super! I met her personally, always trying to accomodate me, and my family with best options. Beach is very close to bungalow, one block. Town is fun, beach is quiet, i never use my car when im here, which i love a lot All our family need for happiness at the beach.

Great Stay

Location, location, location. This bungalow is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the beach and to the Village. The unit was super clean and well apportioned with everything you need from kitchenware to beach gear! Beach chairs were very good beach chairs. The communication is great - Had an issue with the refrigerator and Lisa had it taken care of as soon as she could and it was much appreciated. Overall great place to stay.

Relaxing beach getaway

This cottage is just steps away from the beach and Siesta Village with many restaurants, shops, and the market. You can park your car and never move it until check out. The cottage’s terrace was perfect for morning and nights. Everything was clean and neat. They have beach chairs (5 Tommy Bahama chairs), a cooler, beach cart, umbrella, and more. Keurig and drip coffee, everything we needed for the kitchen and plenty of paper supplies. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Gull

My wife and I spent four days at the Gull. The location is excellent. Just around the corner and you are on the beach. Just one block walk and you are in Siesta Key old town eating and shopping. The air conditioning is a little different. Utilizing widow units and portable units. The portable unit’s exhaust air causing the bungalow to be in a huge negative. This causes a lot of hot attic air to be drawn in around the pocket door to the master bedroom. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the comfort of the bungalow.

Location, location, location

This property is in a perfect location: easily walkable to the beach and easily walkable to the village. The host provides beach items (chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and a trolley) towels and even a few toiletries if you forgot something. The property is clean and well furnished. The bedrooms rely on portable a/c units and fans, which can be a little noisy, but help keep the rooms cool in the intense Florida heat. Overall this is a GREAT place to stay and a great host in a BEAUTIFUL location. I will be back!

The location is perfect beautiful surroundings. However the queen bed in the guest bedroom very uncomfortable , and the out side table is only big enough for 2 people when the pace sleeps 6 Other then that we had a wonderful time. Can’t beat siesta key.
