We had a wonderful stay at Zota Beach Resort on Longboat Key. The property is beautiful, right on the beach, with stunning Gulf views from our balcony. Our room was modern, well equipped, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were warm, kind, and professional, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. In the evening, we relaxed by the pool under the stars and noticed a raccoon passing by at a safe distance away from the pool. When we mentioned it, the staff explained that the resort partners with rescue organizations to relocate them, though as part of Florida’s natural environment, new ones may appear. It did not take away from our experience, and we appreciated how proactive and transparent the staff were. Overall, the resort felt safe, peaceful, and high quality. A beautiful place for a relaxing getaway, and I would definitely return.

The room and staff were great! 2 issues we had that you charge another 6.00 for a teabag, never had to pay for a 2nd cup. Based on how luxury all was thought that was petty. The other item is that we are forced to use valet parking.

I thought I reserved a room with a sofa couch. They offered a rollaway bed but this was not comfortable for my daughter. There were no rooms available like this so I had to take another room that was oceanfront but was charged $100 upgrade fee. The staff were very friendly about this but I didn’t think I should be charged. I will be sure to confirm all this before I take another trip. Overall experience was ok.

The services were excellent all around including room, beach, pool, parking, bars and restaurants. I would have preferred a self parking option and that the beach umbrellas would have been included as part of the daily hotel fees.
