While there are no listed hotels in Sasayama itself, there are 6 options within 30 kilometres where you can hit the sack (and maybe hit the mini bar).

It doesn't take long to reach central Sasayama from Senri Hankyu Hotel Osaka and Satoyama no Kyujitsu Kyoto Keburikawa (although with beds as cosy as these, don't be surprised if you end up running a little behind schedule!)

Another Sasayama accommodation option is the Fushioukaku, 30 kilometres from central Sasayama.

Attractions and Hotels Near Sasayama

If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (well duh, you're here right?), then we're pretty sure you'll want to check out the wider Hyogo region. Ruins are a few sights that should be on your gotta-see list. If amazing scenery is more your thang, make a date with Mother Nature and check out Sasayama's coastal plains, mountains and extinct volcanos. If the sun is shining (or even if it's not), try some popular local activities like snowboarding and skiing.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Hosenji Temple and Nango Park in Kameoka. If you want to spend a night or two in Kameoka, consider the rates at the Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan and Keizankaku. 35 kilometres to the southwest of Sasayama you'll also find Ono, which is home to the Hotel Aura Ono -Adults Only and Hotel Route-Inn Ono. Omiya Hachimangu Shrine and Mikitetsudo Memorial Park are just some of the most popular attractions to explore for those visiting Ono.

Sitting 55 kilometres to the north of Sasayama is Miyazu, a regional hub with a population of 22,000. It's where you'll find some sweet attractions, like Sakanatchi Museum, Iwataki Onsen and Manai Shrine. Why not also check out the vibe at Motoise Kono Shrine and Kasamatsu Park? The Seikiro Ryokan Historical Museum Hotel and Miyazu Royal Hotel are a couple of hotel options in Miyazu.

Hopped on the last flight into Sasayama? Dead on your feet? Then it's probably a sensible idea to grab some accommodation close to the airport. The Fine Garden Toyonaka Osaka Interntl Airport - Adults Only and the Reftel Osaka Airport Hotel are just short cab rides from Itami Airport, 35 kilometres from the centre of town.
