The view of the sunset from our room was gorgeous. We made a point to get back to our room each night in time to see the sunset. Even better, watching the sunset from the hot tub. They have brand new pickleball courts (across the street) with nice Selkirk paddles, in case you didn't bring your own. Friendly staff. It's pretty old, but the price is for the location on the water. Balcony sliding doors need work, screen was ripped. The only real negative- I had to look for a sock under the bed and it was just gross. I guess their vacuum doesn't reach under there. Overall a nice place, would definitely stay there again.

First our room had no towels - so I went to the desk and they gave me some. It was full of little bugs (like ants) and at night, someone in a nearby room was obviously smoking as there was a cigarette smell coming from the shower each night. Breakfast was so-so. Offered either a waffle or a sausage biscuit. Pillows were hard and not comfortable. Pros were the view and the hot tub.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. I loved our balcony and view of sunsets each night. I loved that it is a family owned place. You could tell that they put time and effort into all that they did. I would recommend staying there.

The view of the water was spectacular. The room was clean and a special touch was two vases full of fresh roses from the property’s gardens. It appears the room has been updated in recent years with comfy mattresses and pillows. The free breakfast was fairly minimal but there was biscuits, eggs, ham, yogurt, granola bars, orange juice and bottled water.

Water view, Roses, and Pool... Oh, My!
Enjoyed a beautiful October weekend at the Waterside Inn. The water view from the "deluxe queen" third floor balcony was amazing, and the rose bushes were a gorgeous (and fragrant) touch. The room and bed/bedding were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. A lovely little piece of paradise! :)

This property has the most beautiful roses of anywhere I have stayed. The view from our bay side room was awesome!! The amenities are better and higher quality than most motels. I especially love the Keurig in every room as well as the separate sink outside the bathroom. It's much more convenient that way for two people to get ready for the day!

Very nice family operated motel. Room was clean and offered a balcony with a view of the bay. Convenient location with easy access to Chincoteague town center and the Wildlife Refuge. Limited but decent complimentary breakfast.

Our stay was excellent. The rooms were quiet and the location is ideal. We watch the birds, the boats and the dolphins right off our balcony. If anything needs to be improved, I would say breakfast. But that isn't why I choose a hotel. We will stay here again and again.
