Book Saxlingham Thorpe hotels

This was my second short stay at The George and was even better than the first time. Lovely room. Great food (excellent kippers at breakfast!). Welcoming and very helpful staff. There was nothing not to like! Next time I’m in Norwich I’ll be choosing to stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant 4 * hotel just three miles from the centre of Norwich, charging about a third less than the equivalent city centre hotels (and the same price as the very basic city centre Travelodge / Premier Inns). We paid just £10 a night more for the superior double which was well worth it. Very spacious with extra seating. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and appointed, plentiful communal areas and welcoming and helpful staff. Dining, breakfast and the bar were very good quality and very good value. Outstanding value for money all round. Well done Sprowston Manor!

A very lovely hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cosy, and the bed was very comfortable. Cost was great, would stay again and would recommend :)

Stayed one night only. Friendly welcome received on arrival. Room was spacious and very clean. Shower was powerful. Breakfast choice and layout was ideal for our needs. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you HIE

We had a lovely stay including a Shardlake's Norwich tour and in the evening a lovely meal. Enjoyed our room.

Great hotel for families. Kids eat free, get activity packs and treats. Nice warm swimming pool, play area in the restaurant to keep them occupied & everything you could need for breakfast! We use the hotel every year to see the seals at Nearby Horsey Gap but probably spend more time in the pool!
