Place was as advertised. Plenty of room. Nice location, out of town But close enough to everything. Downstairs bathroom could have been a tad cleaner.

Very accessible and perfectly located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
The property was easily accessible with very navigable roads. Close proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin had plenty of amenities for my family of 6, I would stay here again.

Quite place to stay
Overall we enjoyed the cabin. There was a few things in the cabin that needed fixed. Oven didn’t work and the three bar stools was unsafe to sit on.. Nice to be out from all the traffic noise.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Very disappointing
1. Multiple dead bugs around baseboards and under bed in loft bedroom 2. No water pressure 3.large opening underneath side door that leads to deck that you could stick your hand through to the outside. 4. Dining room table was sticky and the grooves were filled with food and nail clippings 5. Could not use porch because the furniture and decking were filthy dirty, cigarette butts left in the ash tray 6. The rugs in the downstairs master had large stains and the bathroom had a musty order for the entire trip 7. There were large amounts of cob webs hanging from most of the ceiling lighting 8. The shower doors were filled with mold and the handle was broken off 9. WiFi was intermittent and Alexa could never connect 10.The towels and wash cloths were a motel quality and limited. Overall the cabin was very poorly maintained. The cabin is in need of very deep cleaning and a complete over haul. Phone calls were made to Timber Tops management on 3 separate occasions. I was assured that the concerns would be rectified, but they never were. Very poor organization

Spring break Getaway
A quick trip to the mountains for a different scenery for the family. Perfect location to both Dollywood attractions and Gatlinburg. Secluded with privacy yet close enough to the fun. Good for 6 people to enjoy the space. Arcade games and pool table were perfect to keep the kids occupied. If you don’t much windy roads, this is not the place for you. Very pleasant stay.

Would stay again/minor issues
We would definitely stay here again, but there were a few things that needed some attention.... The hot tub was losing water. I called in twice and they just came out to fill it and didn’t fix the issue. We were unable to use it. After just being filled the water was too cold, so we would wait for it to warm up and the water was already low again. (There was a review back in June about this and I figured it would be corrected by July but it wasn’t. We were very sad not to be able to use the hot tub.). The overall cabin needs a deep clean. There were dead bugs around, 2 beer cans and cigarette butts left out on the patio, the dining room table was very sticky, and just needed a deep clean. Some items in the cabin need addressed by maintenance. There was a broken stool, the front door to the patio was hard to close and you could see daylight, one of the kitchen cabinets over the stove looks like it could fall/broken. But even with all of these minor issues, we would stay again. Very quiet. Close enough to things, but far enough away.

The cabin could have been cleaner in a post COVID environment.
Property and location is everything we expected, some of the amenities were not working or available, hot tub (assuming it was a COVID thing) arcade game did not work, no remote for the DVD player, one of the Dish needed new batteries. The dining table was not clean and paper products stuck to the table. We weren’t here for the extras in the cabin but it would have make the experience better. Last Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were not COVID 19 friendly 10% face coverings, no social distancing.. We were here for hiking and that we what we expected, stick to the moderate to harder trails to stay away from the crowds. Get takeout or groceries to avoid the crowds in town and I would bring place mats for the table. Everything else looked clean for a cabin.

A great cabin away from the “busy-ness” but not too far away from the location activities.
The cabin was really great and our family had a ton of fun there. It was just as advertised. The communication with the owners was great. The location was great. Has a very secluded feel, but in reality is not too secluded at all. It’s far enough away from all the busyness of the area attractions, but is very easy and quick to get to either the Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge areas. We spent our time in the national park and it was a snap to get there. The overall rental experience did have a little different feel than privately owned VRBOs that I’ve used in the past. You are renting from a company instead of an individual so the experience doesn’t quite have the same “personal touch.” There is nothing “negative” about that, it’s just a little different feel with respect to check in process, etc. so if you are used to VRBOs just know to expect that. Also pay attention to the check in list. We have a bigger family and we ran out of toilet paper because they only have a basic supply. Again, not a negative-just something to be mindful of. I get the impression the company has tried to keep it stocked in the past but previous renters may have abused that convenience so they stopped. I don’t blame them. As for basic provisions (pots/pans, utensils, etc) the cabin is well supplied. There is not a ground level entry point so you have to be prepared to carry stuff up stairs or around the back of the porch. If you would struggle with that then that would be a difficulty (for example a person with a walker or wheel chair). The cabin was clean and just advertised for amenities. (Don’t forget to bring coffee filters!) Because the area is a heavy tourist area-you could tell previous renters had been a little careless (some stains on carpet, pool table was a little beat up, etc), but everything was very well tended to. We have a family with a wide range of young/teenage kids and everyone felt VERY comfortable. Our toddler was able to very safely roam freely up to the loft, etc. We had no concerns of safety/cleanliness. There is plenty of parking but its on a bit of an incline. They have a great motion light which so helpful for loading/unloading at night. We didn’t use the porch or hot tub because it was March! But that all looked very cozy. Overall great. Great for families, families with small kids, or large groups. Would definitely recommend.
