Newly constructed in 2021...the Chasing Fireflies treehouse is perched over 15 feet up among the trees! Complete with modern amenities and oversized windows, enjoy the calm peaceful view from this treehouse bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Let nostalgic memories of your youth come back to life when you stay at the Chasing Fireflies treehouse. This Farmhouse style treehouse has oversized windows that will bring the outdoor beauty in and is full of modern amenities, while providing you whimsical and enchanting experience. The Chasing Fireflies treehouse sits adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at the base of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. This open concept 1 bedroom, 1 bath treehouse sleeps up to 4 people. The treehouse is full of amenities. In addition to a queen bed and sofa bed, it offers a full size bathroom & shower and kitchenette. Chasing Fireflies has oversized windows which provide a feeling of having the National Park in your living room. Regardless of the season, relax in the air-conditioned or heated treehouse after your day’s activities. The kitchen has a 2 burner cook-top, refrigerator, and combo convection/microwave oven. Enjoy your favorite show on the 55" big screen smart-TV or use the free WI-FI. When you arrive at the Chasing Fireflies treehouse, you will experience the life-like flashing and flickering lights of fireflies; along with firefly decor in the treehouse. While your treehouse sits in the trees, you access Chasing Fireflies via the set of stairs (30 steps) & catwalks or a service set of 15 stairs. The outsides decks provide ample outdoor seating and viewing areas. Use the decks to sit and relax, or dine outside in the fresh mountain air. At night, Chasing Fireflies transforms into a nightly light display with over 150 feet of outdoor lights.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. A kitchenette is outfitted with a stovetop, a microwave, and a dishwasher. A Smart television along with a DVD player are provided for your entertainment.

Great time!
This quaint, cozy treehouse is the perfect getaway! Views were amazing, and it was close to restaurants and local attractions. Everything was clean, nice and ready for our stay.

Romantic weekend
The property was as listed. Loved how there were lights that were motion controlled going up the stairs where you could see well. There was also like a snow shower projector that was lit up where the hot tub was and it was a beautiful touch. The only downside I would say is the well water. The smell of the water was terrible and there isnt much that can be done since it is well water but that did make the stay not as great as it could had been. Beautifully decorated with a gift basket that was very thoughtful. Not far from many attractions. All in all a great weekend.
