Newly constructed in 2023... Beehive is a 2-story treehouse perched over 10 feet up among the trees!
This treehouse is a repurposed 1850’s log cabin featured on the Barnwood Builders TV show, Season 14,
episode 4 – Log Cabin Treehouse. Unlike any treehouse, you will truly step back in time and see logs that
were handmade with an ax some 170 years ago.
Let nostalgic memories of your youth come back to life when you stay at the Beehive treehouse. This
Farmhouse style treehouse has a second story bedroom with French doors to a private rooftop deck,
which overlooks a seasonal creek. There you will have a “sit in the trees” experience that is 30 feet in
the air. Enjoy the calm peaceful view from this treehouse bordering the Great Smoky Mountains
National Park.
The Beehive treehouse sits at the base of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. This 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath
treehouse sleeps up to 4 people comfortably and is full of amenities. In addition to a queen bed and sofa
bed, it offers a full-size bathroom & shower, ½ bath, kitchen, living room, dining area, hot tub, and a
huge outdoor deck. Regardless of the season, relax in the air-conditioned or heated treehouse after your
day’s activities. The kitchen has a range, refrigerator, and combo convection/microwave oven. Enjoy
your favorite show on the 55" big screen smart-TV or use the free WI-FI.
When you arrive at Beehive, you will experience a treehouse unlike anything you have seen. From old
logs, copper & bee decor, modern lighting, and a large deck, you will sit high among the trees. Access
Beehive via the set of stairs (6 steps) & catwalks or a service set of 21 stairs.
The outsides deck is over 400 square feet and provides ample outdoor seating and viewing areas. Use
the decks to sit and relax, dine outside, or sit in the 2-person hot tub and take in the fresh mountain air.
If you’re lucky, you may even see a Black Bear (which you are not allowed to feed). At night, Beehive
transforms into a nightly light display with outdoor lights and possibly a few fireflies.
