Shiga Highlands accommodation with spa

Great resort but a bit older style and window is single pane so cold air still seeps thru the hobby and hallway area. Some of the ceiling and walls are cracking and stains. The resort has family friendly things to do like ping pong and arcade area. The hot spa was pretty good. Breakfast is a great experience. Overall, good experience.

It is self check in and there is a storage place for our luggage as we arrived around 1pm. This hotel is very close to the train station. There are lots of food options at the train station. Our room is kind of small for 2 adults with 2 luggage but we will manage. The room is clean. The staff are very helpful.

Check in was fast and friendly. Breakfast buffet worth the price. They had ice cream, lychee, even free sake 😊,plus western and Japanese options. Santa Claus was position near bread station. From elevator exit to Midori Shopping Mall took less than 15 seconds from 2nd floor. Don Quixote less than 2 minutes outside hotel. Can’t beat this location and price

Easily accesssible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and amenitites were procided everyday.

Beautiful scene!

Nice hotel with very nice buffet dinner and breakfast. However, reception staff were not so friendly and did not explain properly to us about the usage of the onsen facilities.
