For a non smoking room. There were cigarette ashes all over the balcony. Should have been swept up. cigarette butts on the walkway to the lobby.
Breakfast eggs were cold.

We stayed for the weekend in the lodge. The breakfast and amenities were fine. We liked the location. There was so much to do! Everything was clean and functional. A little out-dated, but charming. We would definitely stay again and we're pleased with our stay. Dan at the Tavern made our night!

Beautiful lodge. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff very nice. Dining and buffet were excellent. Only negative is A/C is controlled by lodge and satellite tv went out.
I loved staying there and would do so again. The only negative is that the lodge is looking a little worn. But everything is clean and I loved my room and the balcony view!

Visit to Natural Bridge Park
The room was in need of work. The area above the entrance to room, vanity and bathroom all needed work. The were wet spots on the ceiling in those areas. The room has a smell of some mildew. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a variety and the food was very good. Nice gift shop. The area of the Natural Bridge State Resort Park is very nice and beautiful. My only recommendation would that an definite update to room 131 in the lodge is needed. This did not negatively impacted our experience as we were not in the room that long.

It had great hiking available and was in a nice quiet setting. There is quite a hike down to the pool, and no easy access to it directly at the motel. The complimentary breakfast is ok and gets the job done. The hotel itself is just ok. Its looking rundown a bit, but was bug free and clean enough for a 1 night stay. Honestly there aren’t a lot of options for lodging close by the Natural Bridge trails and SUP kayaking.
The rooms are a little dated but clean. A microwave in the room would have been nice. Good breakfast and lunch good. The park is very nice with lots of hiking trails. Be sure you take the skylight to the Natural Bridge and then take the overlook trail for a great view of the bridge and the mountains.
The cabin was a little outdated, neat, and had sufficient utensils. However, the vinyl flooring was filthy and looked as if it had not been mopped in a long time. The toilet tank wouldn’t refill and I had to take the top of the tank off each flush. Cabin 201
The wooden walking path to the lodge was taped off. Therefore, I had to walk down to the Hoedown area and then back up a number of stairs to reach the lodge.
The website I booked my stay with said there was a different pet fee.
It is a beautiful and convenient location.

Hikers paradise
The lodge was a little outdated and retro, like most of State or National Park places. But that's what makes them so good. Right? Everything was great, Staff, food, facilities and loction. The trail to the bridge was right at the edge of the parking lot.
Red river gorge is a short drive away.
Lodge has been updated. We knew the pool was closed but unfortunate for so early in the season due to staffing shortage. Breakfast was included and simple but worked for us. Many negative reviews and it could have kept us from booking here. However many rooms now updated and we had no issues.
