The word I chose -- appropriate -- sounds unflattering, but honestly for an inexpensive motel, that's what I am looking for. The room was not lavish, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked, there was a fridge and a microwave and a coffee machine, and a television. The furniture was useful and sturdy, and the comfy chair was actually a recliner. I liked the gentleman and his wife who ran the motel, they were friendly and helpful. I will return to this hotel for the many attractions in the Socorro area, and will recommend the Econolodge to friends.

Great place to sleep for the night while passing through with our dogs. Comfortable beds, warm showers, fast internet, nice views of the mountains. Minor complaint - we accidentally left some food out and woke up to ants. Overall, I'm just happy to have a clean, modern-looking room at a minute's notice with courteous staff and warm breakfast

Middle of New Mexico
Perfect spot to launch our teip to the Trinity site. Hotel was being updated and so it was a bit of a mix - but overall nice - especially for a great price and convenient location.

Can't beat this place for value. Room was perfect - clean and spacious with all the things you need. Comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows. Nice hot shower. All for a great price. Only minor downside - free breakfast was average. But it was good enough. Especially since great coffee is just up the street!

okay stay for trip. guest computer was VERY ol.d and did not connect to the internet well. dish network for tv and the high winds broke up reception . breakfast was at least served up by staff on request and was fresh.
