The bed was worn out. It sagged in different directions. I was sore from sleeping on it. The windows are single pain glass and the what g system needs an update. I was cold when I wasn’t hot. It was loud so I kept the temp down at night so I could sleep better. Moisture built up on the glass and the room had a mildewy smell. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner not so much. They ran out of gluten free crust and since their food is prepped in the morning is supplied by a vendor they could not cook to order to accommodate my food allergies. The chairs in the restaurant are worn out too. Some noise dampening of the road noise is needed, like a physical barrier, better walls annd windows. The hotel overall is in need of a major update. The people were nice though. They tried their best. For the money I would go elsewhere if hotel travel is your thing.

Bate and switch. Holiday Inn was a ramshackle four story building, old, with no amenities. Even the lobby coffee machine didn’t work. All functions were offsite at the Regency. I have no clue how this relationship happened.

This was a nice place to stay for our Acadia adventure. Very clean and the staff did a good job keeping up. The hotel could definitely use some updating but it was overall a good experience.

Got changed to Harborside Hotel a “sister property”. Not sure why or how. Think it cost me more. But just one night so splurged. The view was amazing, the hot tub was awesome and room service for dinner and breakfast!

I do NOT recommend booking this hotel thru Expedia. DO NOT expect you will be booking a room with a king bed if you request one. Requests are not guaranteed and the hotel cannot (will not) work with you. Im grateful to Expedia for helping me cancel my stay to stay elsewhere. You are paying $$$ for location only here. It's on the water, which is beautiful, and very near downtown. A couple other thoughts: Restaurant was good for breakfast, though they cannot guarantee a seat overlooking the water. I believe the pool/ hot tub was closed for the winter. Room was in need of renovation (Eden building) though the bathroom was nice. Staff wasn't rude, but wasn't very helpful. Wifi and parking were free. TLDR/Summary: A good basic stay for non basic prices. Don't expect a king room just because you request one.
