Great beach access but low on comfort.
The staff and service are wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and the property is genuinely beach front. The beach front bar and patio were great and I enjoyed the drinks. I rated a three based solely on comfort. The room has a a/c unit on the wall which makes too much noise for me. The keys to the room are physical keys with a plastic key tag like in the old days (cute and retro but inconvenient). The doors to the room require you to pull and twist and wiggle to get in . Parking is very minimal and half of it is open to the public as the hotel is on a beach access point. The front desk closes completely after a certain hour. My tv would not turn off nor could I mute it . It was situated in a way that I couldn’t reach it to attempt to manually turn off so it was on all night.

First time for us to stay here. Friends who have stayed here before recommended it. It’s an older style hotel but really nostalgic in a way. The office staff were friendly. The best thing about it is the bar and grill right outside your door and the beach is just steps away from the bar. Parking isn’t bad but you do share the spaces with non occupant bar customers. We did meet some very nice people who said they stay here regularly and they like it. It’s very quiet considering the bar being close by. It’s old but worth giving a try. We will stay here again.

This is our second time staying here! We had a great time! Located right by the beach! They have a cool bar overlooking the beach! Perfect location to watch the sunrise! We'll be back soon!

Great Stay
Very comfortable stay, clean room, and the staff was great. Pet friendly. View of the beach and gulf from the room. Reserved hotel parking and easy access to the beach. Bar staff was great and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay at the Wanna Wanna on our next trip to SPI.
