Loud music in the lobby. Insufficient plugs in the room for devices. No elevator. Was given a key for the room door that had no keyhole, only a keypad!

Room was ok. Food was not great. Eggs tasted burnt. Potatoes dry. He tried to accompany us with fresh eggs and sausage.

The hotel looks like they are trying to update. Our room had new carpet. The mattress was old, there were no hand towels in the room, half of the lights didnt work in our room, water pressure was weak. It was ok - about what youd expect for less than 100$ a night.

My stay was great and very convenient to the Pinehurst area. Only reason for not being 5 stars was that clothes were found left behind in a dresser and housekeeping didn’t find them and remove them.

For the price we paid, it well exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. Our son enjoyed the pool. My children also enjoyed the beach volleyball and small little putt putt area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Great value!
This independent hotel was a nice surprise and unexpected value. We only stayed one night but it was comfortable. Although we didn’t is it, I appreciated having a hotel bar. Easy check-in process. I would definitely stay again!

The staff is exceptional. Everyone from the front desk staff to housekeeping is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home. The rooms are all upgraded, and cleanliness is their highest priority. Couldn't ask for a nicer hotel, especially for the price.

This is really a great place to stay. Since it isn't a huge corporate chain you can deal with real people directly. The staff was great and easy to communicate with. The place is out of town and very spacious and quiet. All was clean and rooms very comfortable. We brought our dog and they are very accommodating/pet friendly and it is a good place to take your dog outside and walk. I have no complaints and would highly recommend Carolina Pines Inn if you are needing a place to stay in the area.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting family. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, really liked that there was a sink inside and outside of the bathroom. Complimentary breakfast included yogurt, a variety of toast, bagels, potatoes, eggs, bananas, and coffee/water/OJ/tea. They also had flavored syrups for your coffee which was nice. My kids really enjoyed the 8ft deep pool. They also had an area to play soccer and volleyball. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean. The pool didn’t work if we knew that we would have went somewhere else due to having kids with us and the air conditioner never really cooled the room. It was a older hotel but the owner seemed to really to be trying to improve the hotel

What a gem of a hotel. It's the absolute cleanest, smells great and even the air inside is fresh. The staff is super friendly and go out of their way. The breakfast room, lobby, guest laundry and room set up is convenient and easy to access. This property was just a delight, such a welcome change from other properties which use photos that don't really represent the current state of the rooms. Not the Carolina Pine. It's all it represents online and more. Honestly, this hotel would be double its current price anywhere else. In the current economy, it's nice to be able to afford such a nice stay.

The front desk was unattended, and I waited ten minutes for someone to check us in. The complimentary breakfast also was pathetic, with all of the hot food (eggs and hash browns) gone and never to be replenished.
