First, there is no actual human at this location in the evening. There is a guy on a computer screen in the Philippines conversing with you from a monitor. His English is fine, this new way takes a little getting used to but was ok.
The rooms of course smelled of cigarette smoke, my experience at all “budget” motels lately. The smell was not the main issue however. One of the bed’s sheets were full of dog hair, both bed’s sheets had hair of some kind on them. The A/C worked. The TV was not working, at all-in the entire motel. I also kept getting a message that the wifi needed the router to be restarted. Well, with no actual person running the place, there was no one in the office to restart it.
By morning a very nice human was in the office, very apologetic and refunded part of the fee for the room.
