The room was very clean, which I appreciated; however there was an overpowering smell of bleach/cleaning solution when we first entered the room that lingered for quite some time. Perhaps you could consider a solution that is as effective but less toxic smelling.
The property is beautiful, and we were delighted that Ruse was open for dinner on this visit, as we had an exceptional meal. Our server, Brittany, was personable and efficient. I found it strange that an up cocktail was served in a coupe type glass usually used for champagne; however that bothered me far less than the fact that the bartender did not know how to make a gimlet. I received something that resembled a margarita made with vodka, and the glass had a sugared rim! Perhaps some remedial training would help.
