The overall aesthetic of the property is welcoming and clean, with free Continental breakfast and pass-tag parking. The room was relatively clean, plenty of towels and pillows, comfortable bedding, good climate control, walk in shower, and large screen TV tech unit with plug in peripherals for laptop, all with a modernized look. However, moderate damage to the wall where thedoor stop broken off, the window metal framing exposed and plaster chipped off, including a hole in the wall near the bed, scuffing on the walls, and a loose toilet seat, demonstrated that inspection and maintenance was lacking and diminished the room as unappealing and devalued the price point paid. The weirdest aspect was that I had to sign a damage agreement prior an inspection for a room already damaged and so I had to be the inspector and officially reported it to the office staff working to avoid problems. Told staff that they were more than welcome to go up at any time and inspect for themselves but nothing came of it. This is NOT what check-in for a traveler should be like if you're making them sign paperwork over paying for "incurring damages." A bit stressful.
