Convenient, inexpensive adequate hotel

Stayed one night before a campus visit the next day. The hotel is clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The indoor water park area is nice for families with kids. The hotel itself is showing its age and could use some updating, but nothing was uncomfortable or unusable, just worn. The breakfast was adequate but was very carb-heavy, the only hot item offered was waffles. Some protein or fruit would have been welcome.

My only suggestions ate to have a few designated places that smokers can sit at so they are not in the way of other guests, and to have some handicapped accessible parking by all entrances to the hotel

There was a trail cam in our room (although no batteries or SD card) so that kept us on edge for our stay but the other hotels were all sold out this weekend so we didn't have any other options. The bed was barely sitting on a wooden 1x6 and kept falling off. The bathroom had peeling paint, holes in the walls, and a slow draining tub. Limited breakfast options. Just cereal, waffles, and bagels/bread in ziplock. There was a guy cutting up bikes in the back of his truck in the back of the lot. The whole experience was pretty rough.

The lazy river/play area of the pool had extremely cold water. It was so fun but hard to enjoy due to the water temp. Other than that everything was good considering the price.

The rooms need updating badly. Increase your room prices and waterpark wristband prices, and put that extra revenue towards remodeling. Our kids still loved the waterpark. The water was freezinggg cold in the lazy river/park area, but that didn’t stop the kids from having a blast. Hot tub and regular pool were perfect temps. Staff was all very friendly.

The picture are not anywhere close to what the rooms look like. Rooms are very outdated, dirty and smells of mold. Serious bates hotel vibe do not recommend!
