Watch the sunrise from your living room, primary bedroom or private balcony at Tybee Lights 112B. This directly oceanfront 2 story townhouse is right on the sand at the Tybee Lights Condos, located at the big curve on Tybee Island. Located on the upper 2 floors of the building, Tybee Lights 112B features tile floors and a balcony that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.

The entry to this unit is on the second floor of the building. Once inside, there are 2 floors to this townhome. The 1st floor includes the open floor plan living, dining and kitchen. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV and opens to a furnished balcony. The balcony sits over the sand and is the perfect spot for witnessing stunning sunrises. The dining area has seating for 4 with 2 stools at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped and is ready to handle any vacation meal requests. There is a half bathroom on this level, as well as a full-size washer and dryer for guest use.

Upstairs, the 2nd floor of the townhome has two bedrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a King Size bed and a flat-screen TV. There is a shared bathroom upstairs, accessed in the hallway that has a tub/shower combination. The east bedroom has a wonderful view of the ocean where you can take in the sunset from the comfort of the king-size bed.

This property is pet-friendly for an additional fee. There is a designated dog walking area, and all pets must be leashed. No dogs are allowed on the beach on Tybee Island. There is assigned parking for 1 vehicle plus there are first come first serve unassigned visitor parking spots. WIFI internet is available.

Nice beachfront location but tired and not clean

The condo was on the main road heading into Tybee Island. There are two sets of two steep stairs leading up so be prepared to carry your stuff. The condo smelled musty and was not super clean. The view of the beach was the best part. It had a small deck with was directly in-line with the rest of the decks so be prepared for intimate chats with your neighbors. The condo needs a new slider it's fogged up and the screen is ripped and is sticky, the upstairs bathroom had clumps of hair in the corners by the shower, the bedrooms were good size beds comfortable although the sheets were pilly. waking up to the sunrise was beautiful as the back bedroom faces the water which was a nice perk.

Very clean and great view of the beach.

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The view off the back deck was great. Access to the beach was good as well. The listing did not show the steps that you have to drag everything up to get into the unit or the steps inside that were not very wide and slippery. The outside steps need to be redone and proper handrails added. Need to let people know that there are a lot of stairs to access the unit and the bedrooms.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

I grew up in south side Savannah. I spent all of my pre-teen and teenage summers at Tybee Island. It was great to stay right on the beach and be able to relive those years. And our Chocolate lab came with us!

Amazing Views and comfy beds

The view from the property was great and the beds were comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The kitchen had all that you need but some of the placement of the drink ware was a little confusing. There were only two real issues with the property. The first was with the bathtub. The stopper didn’t work and the manual one provided did not fit that drain style. We had our toddler so we needed a functional tub. The second was the beach access. The post said direct access to the beach but we actually had to walk around the property to get to the beach since it was a second story townhouse. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and checking in and out was a breeze.

I loved this townhouse. On the beach and convenient. Clean with a beautiful view. But, if you have a disability, physical or breathing, COPD/Emphysema, there are lots of steps. I will rent from Tybee Vacation Rentals again, but ask for bottom floor and 1 story.

Great Location Run-down Dirty Property

Here is what was positive: right on a beautiful beach. Here is what was negative: the townouse is run-down. The sliding glass door onto the patio overlooking the beach was barely operable, the carpets and runs- grimy and disgusting, walls.that were patched, bathroom tile broken, and a non functional dishwasher. Nothing was clean. In this time of heightened need for cleanliness, this place was just horrible. No one reached out about our complaints. I guess after receiving their money, the management company and the owners simply do not care. This is definitely buyer (or renter) beware!

Perfect for a Low-Key getaway

I loved everything about my stay. I just needed a low-key vacation with my son and parents. This property was perfect for what we needed. If you are looking for high dollar or high class facilities, this isn't the place, but if you want to enjoy comfortable accommodations with a great view, this place is for you. The property was perfect for what we wanted

First, this is a hard review to write because it is both good and disappointing. First of all the property was perfect for what we wanted. It was a block from the beach. Also, Tybee Vacation Rentals, the rental agent, could not have been more professional or polite in making the reservation, explaining the process, and concluding the payments. They were also very good in keeping in contact with us about the properties condition after hurricane Matthew. The disappointing issue was the fact that the "Dish" TV system was not working on the day we arrived and I reported it immediately. They put in a "work order" on the same day, however, we did not have TV service for our entire visit. I was able to work around not having the Dish security code and communicate with a Dish representative who tried to help me remotely restore the service. We were unsuccessful and he advised me that the technician had already been scheduled to repair the system on Monday the 25th of October. The means that Tybee Island Vacation Rentals knew that we would not have service until Monday. Under these circumstances (I too am in the service industry) I would have offered the renters a different property. Factually, we never heard from TVR again. We decided to leave a day earlier than the actual day of our departure and left on Saturday 10/23/2016. The property was perfect for us, but I was truly disappointed with TVR seeming lack of interest in our having no evening entertainment available to us for 5 nights.
