A beautiful and historic hotel with a lot of history, built in 1907 with many prominent guests that visited the hotel. As you walked through the door it felt like you stepped back into time. We had such wonderful stay and the staff was great. We will be back.
Dinning and staff are true strengths. The Inn was majestically old. Lobby and public areas are in great traditional style and condition but the rooms need updating.
This historic property is a gem in the Laurel Highlands.Charming building and excellent bar/ restaurant. Spectacular sunsets from the veranda. Some rooms better than others - ask for a room with a view. No elevators and many stairs so ask for first floor accommodations if mobility limited. Close to many local parks and attractions yet quiet and national park lodge like.

Hotel was perfect and the front room with the fireplace was the perfect way to end the day .. had a great stay
We love the Summit and come a couple times a year. Although the dinner meals have gotten better, the prices seem to have really jumped. Service has improved as well.

Shrinking bed
Everything was wonderful except I’m sure we had a Double Bed not a Queen size mattress!
Amazing views, band on the outdoor porch was great. Definitely would stay again, very historic.

Excellent restaurant & drinks with a fantastic view. Historic facility, dated but interesting past. Hot tub and pool are nice. Rooms could use air fresheners.

I enjoyed staying here a bunch. There’s was avoidable issues at check-in and at the time I didn’t think it was a big deal but they had to change our room and it was next to a couple that was celebrating their 10year anniversary with very load music and yelling. My wife and I are not complainers, but it eventually got to a point where we had to call down to the main desk. I don’t hold the hotel responsible for that, but it highlighted that the walls were thin. Also, someone commented that you should bring Fabreeze and I have to second that. The room had an old musty smell. Pool hot tub and view were fantastic
Checkin staff at lobby were Excellent.Very hospitable;as well as our dining experiences on the Veranda for dinner & breakfast in the morning. We had stopped into the bar in the evening & the services was okay;just night quite as nice as the dinner & breakfast experience in the morning room. The Inn is very charming w/the amenities of the pools & hot tub being appreciated for availability at the Inn. Restrooms were well maintained & clean.
