Great location downtown Vancouver. However, the one and only restaurant was overrun when a tour bus crowd was there during my stay. and there's not many walkable restaurants nearby.

This hotel had a spectacular view of the harbour if room on that side. I upgraded and highly recommend. Rooms were luxurious and clean as was the rest of the hotel, missing coffee machine for first few nights.

We stayed at the Pinnacle for four nights after arriving into Vancouver. It's easy to get to from the airport using the SkyTrain and location is right in the heart of downtown which is the main reason we chose to stay here. Vancouver is VERY expensive, so we did our best to manage expectations despite paying over £200 a night. The hotel is in need of updates as many other reviewers have noted. We had two double beds in our rooms, but we would've struggled with two adults in one of the beds so we had to share with the kids (thankfully they're small). The beds were very comfortable though!! The A/C was also very welcome during an abnormally hot period. We didn't eat any meals at the hotel as the cost of breakfast seemed high, but there are loads of cafes and grocery stores nearby - we picked up a few bits on our first night and had breakfast in our room. The pool area needed a bit of TLC, and the water was quite hazy which put us off but the kids didn't seem to mind. The location was ideal for us, although be warned that the drug use issues that face downtown Vancouver in general can be seen and felt even when not in the typical neighborhoods you read about in the news. Our kids were asking LOADS of questions about why people were acting strange or why they were laying on the ground. The hotel itself though was very safe!!
