When I booked this property it was a last minute booking when we clicked bookings for today, we did not realize that if you click that after certain time it books the following day. When we showed up to stay close to midnight, the lady at the desk informed me that if we click book today, but it’s after certain time it will automatically book for the following day. She said to contact them the next day and we could either have a refund or we could get a credit because they had no rooms that night. We did that and they said no I’m just kept all money and didn’t even give us a credit. So we never got to stay there due to a software issue which they were aware of. We would’ve happily taken another day and just move the reservation, but they refuse to do that as well. This absolute lack of consideration towards clients is the reason I will never ever stay there again. If someone wishes to contact me about this, I will happily reassess my review.

Horrific experience
Dirty, loud, toilet didnt work. Nobody cared. Told us it’s just old and then deal with it later. Never came by so had to try and fix myself. Even people there told us not to check in. Threw towel from outside top floor to bottom and almost hit us. My cell phone screen was bigger than the tv. Pillows were clearly from a sofa with an old case wrapped around them. ‘Closet’ was a small bar above a lamp beside the bed - see photo. Threatened to tow our car if we used one of the many empty good spots reserved only for Management. Parked in a stall where a shrub was also growing. Not a word of this is exaggerated. Place is brutal.

I had room 206 which had a large walk in bathroom, a kitchen area with a fridge, two burner hot plate, stainless sink, table & two chairs. The bed was a queen size which was perfect for me. My room was in an outdoor court yard area with a fountain.

Very spacious. Toilet/shower is enclosed in large closet area with sink/large counter, massive clothes rail, tons of room for luggage so your not tripping over it in the room. Kitchenette with large fridge/freezer. Room was a bit loud with traffic and other guest slamming doors but with earplugs it was all good.

The staff were very accommodating to our needs as a young family and happy to do what they could to make our stay comfortable. The unit had everything we needed, and we enjoyed being able to cook our own meals while on the road. The bed was a bit lumpy but we still slept well thanks to the quiet location and blackout curtains.

The Econo Lodge on Capilano Road was a pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet, perfect for a good night’s rest. The only downside was that some of the surfaces could use a more thorough cleaning. Otherwise, a solid choice for budget-friendly accommodation.
